This is a wonderful flexible product that offers convenience and protection in a smart package. You can clip the sides up with poppers when the sun is not so strong, pop them out for greater protection, and fold the hat up for travel purposes. Folded flat and in my backpack whilst I travelled to Egypt, I pulled it out when I got there and it was straight back to as new condition despite the best efforts of EasyJet. I have very fair skin and a family history of malignant melanoma so I am very careful with my skin and I admit to having been worried about visiting Egypt. I needn't have with this hat - it kept the sun off me perfectly and despite long hours in the sun my head face and neck did not get burnt at all. A good price, a good look, great functionality - what's not to like? I love this hat... but now I am back in the UK I have had no hope of using it as it is not great with rain :) I am sure I will get it out again in the summer, even if that is only one day in July here in the south of England!

I like a battered hat for Summer, no nonsense and straight forward protection from the sun. Nice value, lightweight, comfortable and decent fit. Great for no nonsense dads

Its a nice hat and should provide plenty of shelter from the rain or sunshine. The size it bang on. I will be buying another one in a different colour as a spare too.

Used this recently on holiday to Egypt. Lightweight, comfy and cool. Easily folded to pack in luggage & the beach bag. Kept some fierce sunshine off my face & head.

It will not win style awards on the catwalk but as a simple sun hat it does the job. Its very lightweight and one size fits all. The sides will fold up and attach to stud fasteners but they detach very easily. A drawstring for the neck is included which is useful for windy locations. The material is lightweight and the whole hat folds flat easily - but it does crease and look a bit tatty afterwards. There isn't any wire in the brim so its not possible to shape it.

Good quality. Arrived on time. Fair price. I would buy it again.

Looked all over for a hat some are over £70 this for less than a tenner does same job and fits my head
