Great product works well the delivery was a bit dear for a pen

I've got several of these Vector fountain pens in different colours, and I really like them. I use them with an ink converter rather than cartridges and Waterman ink (it comes in a gorgeous range of colours), and the pen works beautifully. (I'm a teacher, so like to use a variety of colours when I'm marking). There isn't much flex in the nib as you might get with some more expensive pens, but the ink flows well and I can write smoothly. I find my writing looks much better when I use a fountain pen. The body of these pens is plastic but it is quite robust. The cap clips into place, and sits on the end of the pen when in use to prevent you from losing it. The grip section is quite slim and metal. I actually prefer a slimmer grip area because I've got small hands. This pen would be ideal for a younger user of a fountain pen because it is slim and light, and these qualities mean that it comfortable to use for extended writing sessions. This pen isn't the most stylish looking Parker - they do some beauties but you'd need to pay a lot more for them than this. This one though looks fine, and is a real workhorse. A cheap and cheerful classic! Am so pleased Parker continue to make this model.

I use these all day. They write just as good as expensive models: clean, smooth, nice, great ink flow, no smudges The fine nib is spot on for me, the medium is just a little bit too thick Doesnt come with a converter, they cost another fiver Only downside is they feel a little cheap, plasticky and flimsy compared to a "nice" pen like a waterman, but they also cost less than a tenth of those. So rating: 5*s for the price, but probably only 4 overall. Happy to recomend, but if you want a nice pen for under £20, get a 2nd hand waterman off ebay. Wont write any better but looks and feels a different class

Perfect Parker pen. Doesn't leak or blob, and is an absolute pleasure to write with. We all know they knew what they were doing with the design of these. Easy to recommend.

What can I say about this Parker? For starters, it writes brilliantly (medium nib). Secondly, it's quite a robust little thing, unless you step on it. Above all: it's a proper fountain pen, that does the job as well as anything above £500. You DO NOT have to spend silly money on a good fountain pen. That is total and utter poppycock. All these articles about "What is a good beginner fountain pen?"... total rubbish... there is no such thing as a beginner fountain pen. (Calligraphy pens are a different matter. But they're for art... not everyday writing.) Don't get me wrong, there are good and bad pens. But the Parker is GOOD. I have written thousands of pages with one of these pens and it has NEVER let me down. I have also written with expensive pens (can't reveal which, as this review is not about them) and they were absolutely no better. Some advice: if you don't want to spend the extortionate prices Parker charge for refills, do what I've been doing for about 20 years - refill your used cartridge from an ink bottle with a medical syringe. Easy and cheap.

Lovely flow of ink beautiful to use very happy with purchase

It’s a nice pen but it doesn’t write smoothly. Keeps cutting out and I have to go back over the letter again. Does it every few words. Very annoying!

A classic pen. I have always had a Vector as long back as I can remember. But I had not bought one since the mid 90s. This one brought back nice memories. A very smooth writer, easy to bring with you in your pocket.
