Purchased to replace a tap which handle broke off from, This Hapilife tap looks great and has good sizing for small or larger basins. Coming well packaged in a plain box but with enough foam to ensure no damage to the chrome tap inside. Also included are the fittings and pipe work so making replacing very quick and easy. Also included is a tool to take old tap off and screw the new tap into place, this is extended already so can get those tightening nuts on easily without having to fiddle around with a spanner. All in all took half hour, the hot and cold water pipes included were quite long and wrapped around easily without causing any flow problems or leakages. hand tightened then used spanner to give a bit more tightness and was a perfect fit. Have been running tap on and off to check for leakages and all works well with no problems. Tap flow is better than previous tap but this is likely due to larger tap opening, not an issue

An excellent and stylish replacement mixer tap for our bathroom sink. It's never my favourite job fitting a new tap to a sink that's already in situ. However, this one was relatively straightforward and the provided tool for the 2 securing nuts was very handy! The tap is well made, it looks good and works well and very smoothly 👌 The "waterfall" effect is excellent if a tad noisy! So, with a reasonable price and next morning delivery, we are rather chuffed 😀 😊

Firstly, these single lever mixers are good value taps and look great if you want matt black taps. I bought one, installed it and bought another as I was generally content with the first tap. They work fine in as much they take hot and cold water and mix it before it leaves the spout. To install, you should be aware that you can only really hand tighten the water inlet hoses into the base holes of the tap and that seemed acceptable as they didn't leak. Some people might want to use a spanner or something but the hose "nut" ends up within the tap housing rather than outside (at the bottom) it so you cannot get a spanner to it. The tap usefully comes with two securing bolts with its mounting rather than just one as some taps do. This made it easy to secure it to the sink/basin and gave confidence that it will not come loose. The first tap came with a base ring (that goes above the basin between the tap and the basin) that was a good fit to the base of the tap. The second one however, came with one that allowed too much movement (5mm at least) of the tap within the base ring so this was a disappointment and I had to tighten the base bolts quite hard to prevent movement. If anyone pushes the tap hard, it will move and that is due to this mismatch in ring size or poor design. Finally, the water exit spout, being of a rectangular shape, doesn't come with a water diffuser so the water can splash if you don't adjust the flow to a low level. That would probably be in a more expensive unit so I wouldn't mark this down - just don't expect that level of features for this price. All in all, I'd buy another.

Review after being fitted for 13 months, easy to fit and looks great, fully functional basin mixer tap with the benefit of having a collar at the base,so easy to keep clean. No faults to report and looks a lot more expensive than it was

Fitted this item within half an hour.Clear instructions. Included the horseshoe bracket and bolts which I had bought elsewhere to repair the original tap but couldn't use as rusted through. Included in pack tubular grip to tighten nuts .Excellent value with all items included and decent length 45 cm flexihoses.

Easy enough to install, looks fab and operates well. The only issue I may have, is the woosh sound when tap is opened. A lot louder than my old taps but perhaps that the way these new designs work. All the attachments are spot on as well, from the flexi hoses to the plastic spanner to tighten nuts. Job completed in less than 2 hours for a diy fit, not bad.
