The fabric of the kimono is beautiful. It is light weight and silky to the touch. I think it is polyester and washable. The workmanship is very well-done. It will be a birthday gift to an elderly lady. She will love it. Same goes for younger ladies. It is a gift item that has no age boundaries. This one is long with a self tie inside, and a matching silky tie closure for the outer part. Very lovely indeed !

Super soft silky fabric, fit is one size - I find I have plenty of room with my 5’5” 160ish curvy size& frame - love the inside tie to secure it - I have it in the premium pink & the light champagne - for sure would consider other color & patterns I am pleased with how they both look & feel. I do miss pockets which is the only thing I would add - but it’s not a deal breaker for me — hopefully these will hold up well in the wash (I would recommend washing them gently in a lingerie bag & air dry them as the fabric seems delicate & might lose some of its softness with repeated washes) Feels like a touch of simple luxury for a fair enough price.

It was even beautifully folded and presented in the packaging. Very impressive, particularly for the price. It drapes beautifully, and you'll feel like a movie star in it. Not practical (for me, anyway) as an ordinary robe because it's too "slippery," but for a decadent weekend or something special, it's gorgeous and feels amazing.

I really love this robe and even though I have one or two things I could say miss the mark, honestly, I’m still really happy with this purchase. I went with the dark green one with the white flowers and cranes and it’s really subtle and beautiful. I might even order another one just to rotate. I have my eye on that bright red one as well.My biggest complaint is that there’s no loop to hang this by. That seems like such a silly oversight. I don’t like hanging any clothing on hooks by the material itself, and especially not in the case of something silky like this. For the time being, I’ve been draping the entire robe over the hook so as not to stress the fabric or damage it at all and who knows, maybe that’s just what I’ll have to do forever. Not a huge deal, but it’s the biggest reason I’m not rating this 5 stars.Be aware that the material is extremely silky, which is great, but that means it doesn’t grip well, so you’ll need to use the inside tie to keep things in place. You’ll also need to either double knot the sash or pull it very tight to keep it from slipping. That’s just the nature of this type of material.It’s a lovely robe. If only they’d put a loop so I could hang it up, I’d have given it a 5/5.
