Buck Knives 382 Trapper 2-Blade Folding Pocket Knife with Wood Handle

Very good knife that keeps an edge and comes in handle for every day tasks that you expect a folder to handle

Was looking for a new knife I guess this will do seems to be small like something a bit longer, wood is nice cuts nice , but may keep looking

My Grandpa had a knife like this but I didn’t inherit it when he passed, so I got one for myself and one day my kids kids will see this knife and call it “Grandpa’s knife”.

Blades aren't very sharp, angles are sharp so hot spots are a thing and the brass and wood connector areas aren't flush so it's rough to almost sharp

Far from my best buck, but am very happy to acquire this traditional pattern from my favorite brand.Burl wood scales and lack of origin country stamp makes this budget Buck import worthwhile.420J2 is very corrosion resistant, and although not shaving sharp I obtain an easy and effective edge.Went ahead and scooped the trapper, canoe and large Stockman all for under $100 shipped.. no Brainerd.Thinking it would make a great gift for any would be Buck fans of any age really, timeless classic. Old timer knife has that cool stuff besides being sharp and functional

This is my new EDC the blades are very sharp the handles are very very nice

This is made in China but it is nicely made and sharp. The mechanism works smoothly and it does not have the half stop like the Case model has, where the blades stop at half opened and then you have to pull them all the way open. I like this knife even though it is not made in USA.
