delivered with prime - it has the one feature I really like - veryical steam
My iron has finally given up and to be honest I was thankful - it was a Bosch and cost £50 and was rubbish(it leaked and used water at a mad rate). There are so many irons to choose from, all sorts of foot plates etc. I really didn't know what to buy and didn't want to pay £50 again for something that just did't live up to it's brand. This Swan cost £17.90, delivered with prime - it has the one feature I really like - veryical steam. Have used it a few times now and find it great. The water lasts really well, the continuous steam is continuous (which my old Bosch wasn't though claimed it was). It stands upright fine, the vertical steam is good and it has a 'dolphin nose' which is really useful between buttons on shirts and into pockets. So far I am very happy with my much cheaper iron, the only reason I have given it 4 stars is I do find it a bit heavy so after 15 mins of ironing I fancy a break - but then that's just preference and what I find a bit heavy is just right for someone else. For just under £18 delivered with prime this is a brilliant buy - thanks Swan and Amazon!

A very good iron for the price
A good very competitively priced iron. This was pruchased after our last one died.It does reach its temperature very very quickly, I saw comments about the noise of the steam but its not unlike my last iron (murphy richards).Ironing - the plate is smooth and did seem to be easier ironing my shirts but not noticeably a massive time saverWater reservoir - a good size and doesn't seem to leak, not had an issue fillingSteam output - a good adjustable steam output with no streaky bits or additional water left on clothes when usingPower cord - a good length - you can wind this around the base although the design doesn't seem to have taken this into account, it could also use a clip to stop it unwindingThe dolphin nose - wasn't sure what to make of this but it does seem easier to get into smaller/fiddlier places so after using I think this is actually a good featureControls - easy to read and use

Excellent iron, highly recommend!
This iron is simply the best. I've had several over the years, and this is the best one I've owned so far. It's also great value for money, compared to the more expensive ones.I've had it for 3 years now, and it's stood the test of time as well. Doesn't leave any marks or spew chunks of limescale on my clothes like some other irons have, and the heat control settings are perfect and accurate. You really can't go wrong with it, and I'm more than happy to recommend!

It's ok basic iron
I don't think the original price was correct, I think the reduced price is more in line with the full price, it's got an Argos sticker on it so I can only guess it is from an access stock, these usually comprise of returns or unsold stock, it's a basic iron which has been given a higher price tag in my opinion to give a discounted price that's looks attractive,

Great price, bad iron.
Soleplate turns brown and covers clothes in brown flakes and spots, ironing takes twice as long. The iron may have a 350ml tank but aside from the fact that you will spend so long ironing, the iron also seems to get through water very quickly so you will constantly be filling it up and dealing with insane amounts of condensation in the ironing board, also the spray nozzle often just produces large drops on the clothes rather than a fine spray. It does the job, especially if the job is just ironing a handkerchief or two. It doesn't iron well

Has to be on full to be hot enough and only gives out steam when press button. When pressing steam button also omits white chalky bits even though I use ironing water and not tap water. This never happened with my old iron. Wouldn't buy again; however recognise this is a cheap iron.

Swan ceramic iron., 2600W,
It was time to update our iron, having had it since the year dot.......... arrived well packaged and fast delivery. Getting to know and bonding with our new iron has been easy. Large water tank, ferocious steam, so had to adjust to suit. Not lightweight, but acceptable. Good length of flex. Hubby said his only little problem was the base of the wire which gets in the way, catching on his arm. Overall lovely to use. Very happy
