Bought as a gift and the family really enjoyed it and at a good price.

Great film

Surprised how some of this film has dated. The acting has become a little artificial and some of the sets look like a movie set. having said that, it's a cracking story with plenty of decent action. Oliver Reed in particular is good - shame they didn't film the intended ending with him burying the sword - but they mangled an ending together without him. Crow too is very good.

This was to replace a dvd that that had been damaged.

Some films have lifelong value. I rate Gladiator among that list.I loved the depth of this film and Russell Crowe's portrayal of the Gladiator, which takes the viewer on an emotional roller coaster ride.Also food for thought, early on in the film Gladiator, taking the Roman troups to battle inspires them with the words "What we do in life echoes in eternity". A thought worth meditating on on a daily basis.This film is not for the light-hearted. It challenges moral issues and exposes the vulnerability of the human frame and the often fragility of human relationships. Definitely a film that provides food for thought.

I enjoy watching it over and over.

Es una buena película para tenerla en la colección personal. Muy buena banda sonora. Pero los contenidos son algo flojos, creo que se desaprovecha mucho los contenidos que se le podría meter. El estuche bastante endeble aunque resistente.

The gladiator...it's practically a classic and a recommended movie for anyone!
