So far no burn marks
Keeps the floor safe from any hot coal coming out of the wood stove. We used this for one season so far and there were a few times that small pieces of hot coal landed on it. We picked up the pieces right away and no marks left on mat.

Not thick material
This was ok. A lot thinner than expected. Size was perfect though so I kept it. Need to find a rug to go over it. Purchased to protect LVP from heat.

Nice low profile and looks good
We were looking for a good fireplace mat but didn't want to trip on it and wanted to be able to easily store away when not using the fireplace. This satisfied all of the criteria. We are very happy with this and bought a second one for the other fireplace.

Does protect, but doesn’t stay in place!
Works for the reason it was made and bought for but it slides!! Never stays in place, always needs readjustment.

Works good to keep the stray sparks from burning the floor. Nice size. Seemed flimsy at first but lays down flat.
