Genuine BlackBerry Sync Pod / Charging Pod / Desktop Dock for BlackBerry Classic - Black (ACC-60460-001)

Just recently bought the BlackBerry Classic after upgrading from a Q10. Loved the Q10, so liked the idea of upgrading to a similar shape factor, with a larger screen and it being a thinner, newer device. When I heard about the release of an official BlackBerry Classic charging dock, I purchased one right away. No regrets at all. This is a very well made charging dock, and the BlackBerry Classic looks fantastic charging in it on my cabinet, especially with the alarm app activated that I use. The underside of the dock has a rubber pad, so it doesn't slider around on the surface that it's sat on. BlackBerry have clearly listened to their main client base, and have as a result produced a dock for one of their second generation BlackBerry 10 smartphones (the Classic), after failing to do so for all but one of their first gen BB10 phones.

Worked out of the box. Useful. Noted that the phone doesn't charge through it, it just allows you to since data.

This does exactly what it says on the tin. It's very small and light but is a perfect cradle for the new Classic. Delivered promptly and safely.

The only gripe I have with this is that it does not come with a wall plug. It probably did say that somewhere in the text, but like most men, I did not read that. The wall plug that came with the phone is already in use at home, I wanted this charger for my desk, so had to find another plug.That said however, once it was plugged in I was really happy with the charger, it is no effort to place the phone on the charger and for it to connect, and once on it seems quite steady there - I do not feel it is going to drop off if the desk gets a nudge etcWould 100% recommend, as long as you are aware that this does not come with a wall plug.

I bought this official Blackberry product, which worked brilliantly for 3 months and then for reasons I can't explain it stopped working. I have had to purchase a new one.

I am not happy with this item, because it's not the best fit for my BlackBerry Passport..and it's old item with scratch on it.On advert says that it's suitable for BlackBerry Passport and is not.If possible I would love to have my money back and return this item.Peter

Does the job but fiddly. Bedside mode the same. I know that it sounds like the proverbial country & western cliche, but the old one was better in both respects.
