I got a new computer which mostly runs with USB-C inputs and I still have lots of notebook external hard drives that use the typical usb cable, and I didn't want to use an adaptor etc.. This is for sure a life saver, and using the cable now my hard drives can transfer at USB-C speed. I have had no connection issues. No mystery on how to use or install, you just plug 1 end to the hard drive and the other to the pc/ Mac. My Mac had no issue detecting the hard drive when using this cable. One thing I would change was maybe had gotten this a bit longer, the table is a good length but could have even about 1ft longer. Far as aesthetics, it is a nice well designed cable, If you still gotta connect it to the traditional usb input, it has an adaptor at the end of it

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Certainly cheaper than the $300.00 I thought I was gonna have to spend on a PS4 HDD!

My HDD was "suddenly not connected", have to repair... repair.. "suddenly not connected" repair.. repair again.. X about 15... ENOUGH! Buy this cable, use some canned air and blow out both ends of HDD and USB on console, and BE DONE WITH IT. (Yes I tried that with the old cord, and it got even more frequent.) Anyways so far it hasn't happened a single time since. Looks like I dodged that $300 bullet. Cord is super thick! Not the usual thin crap you get here. I suspect because of how well its made that it will last a long time. Probably decades, to be honest, it will probably outlast the already outdated console. Its made of really good thick yet flexible materials. For the price, its just amazing! The ends of the cable are nice. Good solid connections.
