Perfect for getting into 3D printing
Incredible Value for the MoneyI started with one Tina2 by Weedo in my classroom and now I am up to 3. If you are looking for an entry level 3D printer that creates HIGH quality prints, honestly look no further. Background: I have been researching 3D printers for classroom use for sometime and researched them forever. Printers are not all created equal. They’re are subtle differences in quality and print. I took a chance on the Tina2 and am very pleased. Currently, we use the printers to create sensory, tactile fidgets for the classroom and school. What started as a small idea has turned into an adventure that students and teachers are excited about.PROS; Small in size, perfect for smaller prints. Quality all depends on the filament used but generally speaking, I have not had any issue with almost all filamentsIt’s quiet - no surprise there. Kids and teachers enjoy watching itThe software is EASY to use. Comes with WiiBuilder and Cura which is awesome for more detailed projectsUses PLA (earth friendly filament) great for kids and TPU friendly which is flexible for making squishies or plush prints.Customer service has been outstanding. I had a breakdown with one of my machines and they were QUICK to make it right. I now have three machines in the classroom which have created well over 100’s of prints each.Easy to maintain. Simple cleaning and greasing where necessaryCONS: the plate is not heated which sometimes creates issues with adhesion with rafts on prints. On the positive side, the plate is flexible so it is easy to remove prints.FINAL WORD: if you are looking for an entry level 3D printer for home or classroom, this is a great valuable start. Weedo has additional printers designed more for commercial use which I have not tested but I can expect the same quality. I am very pleased with the overall construction (students and teachers love the machines as well). Finally, it’s very simple to use. Create, download to an SD card (included) and drop the SD card into the printer = Print.

Makes a great gift
This is a great starter 3D printer for teens. I've given this gift twice and the other grandkids want one now too! It's easy to figure out. The filament is not expensive. Tons of fun.

Surprising little printer!
Here’s an unbiased opinion, no compensation or discounts given to me, about the Weedo TINA 2:My first 3d printer, and I’m a total novice. Pretty simple to use, puts out very decent prints, and has plenty of options for tuning the print along the way. Customer support from the company is responsive, and they seem to want to help you solve any issues & get back to printing asap. I had a small issue with the proximity sensor, and they sent me a new one right away, along with instructions on how to install it.I’ve printed through lots of rolls of filament so far, and I’m impressed at how much of a “work horse” this little guy is, it churns away at smaller builds reliably - I’ve left it running overnight plenty of times so far, no problems. No, the base model of this printer doesn’t come with wi-fi, but popping a TF card in for builds isn’t really an inconvenience, and the metal protection grille on the higher price model doesn’t do anything for an adult who understands that “hot things make ouchies”, it’s not needed except for aesthetics, this model is adequate.Magnetic print bed is nice, it’s not heated but some blue painters tape and a bit of glue stick handles that with no problems. You’ll probably want to pick up a spool holder for the 1kg rolls, since the included, side-mounted feeder is only for .5kg rolls…it works great this way.Their own software included is powerful, yet simple enough, and they also toss in Cura for more control over designs.I’d recommend this as a starter or intermediate printer, it’s got a build area of about 4 square inches, but that’s a bigger area than you may think, enough room for lots of projects. Hope my review helps you cut through the BS and get a better idea of how it really works.

Tina2 Basic great starter 3D printer for kids
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for the 4/grand kids to give them a taste of 3D Printing as I make little toys for them on my weedo x40. They are between the ages of 3 and 10.Out of the box was pretty easy, well packaged and pretty much pre configured and leveled. I followed the instructions just to see if anything was left out and the only thing I can add is use the glue stick and coat the bed for things to stick. I do it because I do it on my others. Super easy to connect the bowden tube abs run the filament through the extruder and you are ready to go.Flipped it on and it powered up, we did a filament feed, waited for the nozzle to get hot and then stop and remove the filament off the bed. Insert the SD card and pick your file. I chose the butterfly, about 45 minutes later it was done.No issues to speak of, it stuck to the bed and the removable and bendable magnetic bed made removing very easy. Perfect for the grandkids, they will still need supervision because the nozzle still heats to 200c.Print came out great, it has auto bes leveling and it is pretty. Wifi is included in their upgraded model but this is fine for what it does and it's abilities. You also can't beat the price and it is pretty quiet. One last thing get some extra filament as what comes with it isn't very much. Now I just l have teach them how to use the slicer to bring over downloaded stl files. Can't wait to drop this off to them. I give this product 2 thumbs up.
