I was looking for a second banneton for my sourdough making and this fit the bill! It's sturdy and the perfect round shape. I love that it came with the lame and brush. I wasn't originally going to buy the "kit" version but I'm glad I spent the few extra dollars for the tools. The lame is cheaper and on a plastic handle so it's not ideal long term, but it made a mean cut! I had the best ear on my sourdough, better than my more expensive lame. Also the brush helped to get more floor evenly into the grooves. I recommend it!

Y'all...I jumped on the sourdough train and I can't stop making bread. This was the first "kit" I purchased and it helped me gain the confidence to make my first loaf. It comes with all of the essentials and it is a great price for everything you get! The proofing basket is sturdy, the dough whisk has saved my mixing bowls (and sanity), and the bread lame has helped me make the prettiest scores in my bread. Overall, a great purchase.

The attached implements are cheap, again for occasional use is fine, for everyday use would not recommend. The Bannon itself is adequate with the cover. Hand wash.

I love the size of these baskets. They are just big enough to hold a loaf of dough without making it too slack. They provide excellent surface tension which allows the bread to hold its shape better when baked. Will be ordering another set so I can bake more loaves at a time! Excellent buy.

This is a great little starter set for someone just getting into baking bread. It has the basic necessities plus some and I have found myself using all the tools included.I have used all the pieces multiple times now and it seems very sturdy and durable.
