Review: Great tone for Taylor GS Mini - Having struggled to find lighter gauge strings for a Taylor GS Mini these hit the sweet spot. I've found the shorter scale length has made the strings too tight to bend, especially as the guitar is set up for 12 and 13 gauge. Further, I've found the Taylor overly bright and was looking for a string to give a more mellow tone. I like my action very low and with other gauge strings managed as low as 1mm at top E 12th fret - yes, it can be done. Had to give the tiniest tweak to the truss rod to stop any buzz but these strings still manage about 1.5mm action. They have a lower tension, fuller sound and are wonderfully soft to the touch.

**Q: Are these ball end?**
A: Yes ball end. They are a good string although I find them just a little 'quieter' than the other phosphor bronze D'Addario strings I use.
Happy to recommend them and indeed  most D'Addario strings.

Bought these for accoustic guitar. They have lovely tone but were not really loud enough without amplification. I believe they are really meant for a nylon string guitar. They do have a lovely tone though.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great strings

Thought I would give these strings a try on my Takamine with a piezo pickup system. Lovely feel under the fingers and sound warm which is what I wanted. Sound good through the piezo and great for mic recording. Over all very pleased just wish they would do a 12 to 52 set.
