Does what is says on the tin
I bought the king size. Absolutely amazing forgot what it was like to have one. The design these days are so much better than they were when I was a little girl, at least you can now unplug and wash them, the added matress elastic keeps them more secure to the bed and fits perfectly, the level of heat is just right to get the bed cosy ready to get in and the control is so easy to use to turn it up or down. It's light weight makes it go unnoticeable you can't even feel the heat elements underneath you like you could with the old ones back in the day. I think this is an amazing bargain at £32.49 for Silentnight and as for being someone with hypermobility syndrome in the lower back and hips it's the best nights sleep i've had in a long time, no tossing and turning in the night due to pain and getting up in the morning fresh as a daisy with no aches and pains. If you haven't got one or can't decide get one it's the best thing i ever did.

Does the job for not much cost
From a bewildering selection of electric blankets with a massive price range I chose those rather basic one. It has all the functions I needed - to prewarm a bed before getting in. And it does it well. On the highest (of 3) setting the bed is warm in about 30 minutes. I don't leave it on all night. It does not have a timer or dual control as I don't need that. It works just fine. The corner connector is not unduly obtrusive and can be left just under the pillow. The blanket covers most of the mattress (unlike some) and has full width straps rather than those pathetic corner straps which never stay on. One star off because I've noted than the blanket can move around slightly but that's it. Good blanket at a good price (so if it needs replacing it won't break the bank).

Review After Four Years of Use
The media could not be loaded. I bought this in late 2020, so it’s now heading into its fifth winter. I chose it based on the well-known brand name, good reviews, and reasonable price.First impressions were that it’s well made with an overall cotton type feeling of reasonable quality, in a simple, neutral colour. I did notice that it doesn’t fully cover the size of the single mattress. I measured it at about 135 cm/4’5” in length, and about 72 cm/2’4” wide. The heating element wires stop about 5 inches from the edge of the material each side, so it effectively has an unheated border. To be fair, the specifications do mention that the blanket isn’t meant to reach the edges to enable it to lie flat, so I’ll accept it’s intended to be this way.The power cable has an overall length of about 8 feet with the controller nearer to the edge of the blanket. It doesn’t have a timer or any bells and whistles, just nice and simple heat options:0 = Off1 = Warm - 12 W2 = Warmer - 23 W3 = Warmest - 40 WNote: These wattage figures are for the single size blanket. An orange light on the controller glows very softly when switched on.It’s quite slow to fully warm up; I always switch it on at least half an hour before bedtime, on No.3 heat, which is warm enough for a cosy bed.The heating wires do protrude somewhat through the fabric, so some people may find that uncomfortable. This could also be the case across other brands as well, and I personally found I got used to it pretty quickly, without affecting my sleep quality. The elastic straps are helpful, keeping it in place quite securely under the mattress.-Pros: • Well known, trusted brand • Reasonable price • User-friendly controls • Well made, good quality, light weight • No unpleasant smell • Reliability: Still working fine after four years • Low running cost-Cons: • Heating wires can be felt while lying on it • Does not entirely cover the mattress • Slow to heat up • Limited maximum heat levelOverall, this is a good, reliable product, and I have not had any problems with it over the past four years of use. I would happily recommend it, so a full five stars from me.Thanks for reading, I hope this review was helpful x

It's a bit short but does the job well
Heats well and evenly, is very comfy to lie on (zero wires can be felt under the sheet) and does the job perfectly but I'd rather it was a bit longer. You have to curl your legs up to warm your feet but other than that it's a good, low wattage blanket that will last at least 7 hours on heat setting 2, running off a decent camping battery. Which is toasty warm with a good duvet over the top. A full leisure battery would last longer but we're using it with just a portable, solar charged camping power pack. If you're just concerned about the running costs, this is one of the cheaper ones. Shouldn't cost much more than 10p to run all night. If you already have a heated throw then between the two you'll be affordably snuggly no matter how cold it gets this year.

Heats up quickly
As the cold weather is starting to set in, it is nice to jump into a non chilled bed.Easy to use, fit ( for large beds best to have two of you fitting it).Simple control system, to choose what suits me.Seems well made and so far no issues.Being a double control unit, both sides of the bed can be regulated separately.

Does its job
Great product. It doesn't cover the whole double bed, but it heats up quickly and has different settings. I don't need it on long to heat up the bed. Very happy with my purchase. It is also thin, so hardly noticeable under your fitted sheet. The elastic keeps it in place nicely too.

Nice and Warm!
This electric blanket is great for the cold days and heats up very quickly. It’s quite soft and fits the bed nicely!I had to give this product 4/5 stars though due to the fact that it’s a little on the smaller side although it’s big enough to heat the bed and majority of your body, definitely takes the chill off! There is 3 total heat settings on the controller but I think 3 is the best output and gives you a nice warmth without being to hot!

Not useable in North America!!
This blanket is fitted with a British 240 volt electrical plug which cannot be adapted to be used with North American 120 volt power. This may well be a good electric blanket--I'm just advising that it cannot be used in NA.

bad quality
The blanket controller broke one month after delivery after minimal use. replacement not possible so now only half of blanket works.

Levereras utan EU kontakt
Levereras utan EU kontakt. Kunde därför ej prova den. Besviken på utseendet. Såg mer ut som ett madrasskydd med resårband än en filt. Inget jag rekommenderar.

Don't buy this product!!
This product is from the UK! It needs a plug adaptor. Guess I missed that in the description!! Even with the adaptor I can't get it to work- the power comes on but no heat. I can't send it back because shipping costs more than the product and the company won't pay for shipping. Trying now to figure out what to do with this large piece of wired fabric that can't be used for anything. I am not a happy consumer.....
