Beautiful Beginnings - Nappy Pins - One Size

Having search everywhere for old fashioned safety pin I was delight to find these on Amazon. They are very sturdy & hold well. I find opening them at times challenging but that is the idea with safety pins. I used them to secure the dog's coats as despite measuring them it seems impossible to get coats to fit! Great price. Was rather dismayed to find that pins arrived loose in a small Jiffy envelope. The small print on enclosed receipt indicated the Company was removing packaging for the environment. Nothing against being green but, given the option, would have preferred to have received the pins in its original safe and hygenic packet. Keeps pins altogether and are much easier to find.

Not as secure as I'd hoped - if you put real pressure on them in certain ways - pulling the pinned material apart very strongly, they can snap open. But I didn't buy them for baby nappies (I would not advise them for that purpose as I have not found them as safe as I'd like), but as useful "secure" safety pins with one aware of that limitation on pressure exerted they are excellent. So long as you are aware the pressure must not be too great, then they are excellently useful.For baby nappies though..... test some others. I always wanted the best for our children, and wouldn't use these for a child.

These pins were sent VERY quickly by the Seller, and were excellent value for money. I don't think they are anywhere as near as good as the previous type of Nappy Safety pin, ( I used them in the 1970s with my children ) where the cap clicked up and down to release or enclose the point of the pin. I personally would not be confident in using with a nappy, as they do come undone - a very wriggly baby could easily dislodge the pin from its' housing, I think.

I am a nurse and we have to carry around the keys for our individual patients' drug cupboards. The keys were always getting lost in the bottom of my tunic pockets so I came up with the idea of pinning them all together using a safety nappy pin. Everyone of my colleagues loves the idea so I needed more pins as I gave them all away , hence the need for 2 packets of pins.

I brought them to keep the duvet cover corners in place on the quilt, as I have a wriggler son. They stay locked and have remained sturdy after some use.

I use them to keep my duvet in place.

these are good sturdy diaper pins with the safety top. The go through the fabric relatively easily.
