Advanced Grammar in Use with Answers: A Self-Study Reference and Practice Book for Advanced Learners of English

This is a great book for self study. Excellent.

The advance Grammar book I ordered was to sent as a present for a relative as she wants to learn more English grammar and she asked for this specific book.

I am from Spain and as a english book for me and for a lot of people it is the best. The green one means highest level and it is perfect for who wants to develop up to the end. This book will let you getting and improving all your skills with the english. According to many forums this books are highly recomended because they are very complete and you can find whatever kind of aditional information in the end of this book. I'm right now learning english in an academy too and my teacher recommended to me this book's collection because it is the best way to learn english by your own from your house. If you want the complete collection you must get: Essential Grammar in Use. Although my english is a bit better than this level, it is good to have got it to practise from zero. Advanced Grammar in Use. Amazing It is always the same method and it works. First they explain you grammar and in the next page you have a lot of exercices to complete. To correct it just go in the end of this book and find the solution. Product recommended 100%.

I have used this book for years and was interested to see the new revised edition. Actually not much has changed. In most exercises the most that has been 'revised' are personal nouns! Very few exercises have been replaced and some have just changed position! But as my students have the newer version I had to buy it too to be 'on the same page' as they say. This often happens in EFL books and is rather annoying. Nevertheless this remains a very comprehensive grammar for advanced students which can be used in class or at home as a self study book. I do think that there should be an edition WITHOUT answers though. Some students are bound to succumb to the temptation!!

Everybody should buy one of these :-) Doesn't matter where you come from. The lay out is very intuitive and easy to follow. This book should cost twice as much for how good it is :-) . I like it anyway arrivederci

This book is a great investment if you really want to deep dive into the functional aspects of English Grammar. The content is undoubtedly of very high quality and is meant for serious English learners. This book is definitely not for the beginners - as the title suggests. The book expects you to have basic knowledge of functional Grammar before you embark on your journey to the advanced level.

Kitabın içinde de belirtiyor bu durumu. Yani size gramer konuları belli bir sıra içerisinde verilmiyor. Kitaba, varsayıyorum yetmişinci sayfadaki belli bir konudan da başlayabilirsiniz. Asıl kullanım amacı bu zaten. Aklınızda bulunsun.

Good for self study, clear explanation! And the book’s quality is excellent as well. I have it to check my gramma mistakes and it’s very helpful.
