This is a nice hat. It’s not nearly worth $40 in my opinion. It’s a blend not 100% merino like some colors Runs small and not for a sub zero day (it’s a looser knit)Not sure what all the craze is about. I’ll wear it but be going back to Vermont brands for a thick hat I can feel good about spending $40-$60 on.

Well made hat for moderate cold. Fits me well - to too loose or tight. Cheerful vibe pattern.

Very nice and comfy hat. Only a shame the fleece lining is only a “ear band” and doesn’t go all the way up.

If I were writing this review based solely on the merits of this product it would have 5 stars. I read thru the entire description including product information. Nowhere did they disclose that the hat was manufactured in China. In fact, they hyped it as pro-Vermont mom and pop all inclusive 'turtley' goodness! I am sorry but $41.58 for a hat knocked off in China, is a ripoff! It is VERY disappointing that Vermont/New England garment workers are getting screwed while Turtle Fur is charging made in the USA prices!

This was a gift for my son-in-law he loves it has owned one of this brand in the past and ask for another for Christmas.

I love merino wool products. Not a bad price for what you're getting.

I really do guard this thing, it's so nice. I'm not going to lose it, it's now my best wool hat for cool weather from 25 to 15 degrees. Wind blocking too
