Arrived this morning and looks awesome. Not tried it as the clouds are here. Full test soon as the sky is clear. I can't wait. Well built and good packaging.

"Exactly the same mag as a 10mm" says the other review. This comment is unintelligible and unfair to rate this product poorly on that. Aperture X 2 gives you the total magnification possible in your scope. Focal length divided by the eyepiece size will give you your apparent magnification. Whilst I do not have any other 6mm eyepieces to compare to, this works perfectly with my 900 scope giving me 150x magnification. The finish is of a high standard for an entry level eyepiece - there is some crowning which is not a huge issue if the image is properly aligned.

I love this so much if your a space nerd like me then you will love this 4mm

(4mm) - Grab a piece of tin foil - Make a hole on it with a needle - Do your stargazing through this hole from now on (This would simulate eye relief, field of view and brightness well. There, I saved some money for you.) Right, in all seriousness: meh... I think the fidelity of the image is ok. Haven't had ideal viewing conditions to say for sure, but looks ok. Is it usable? Not really. Eye relief? You better trim your eyelashes! Literally, your eye will touch the lens every now and then! Field of view? Pretty bad. May be the eye relief, but looks narrower than any other Plossl I have. May give a slightly better image than my cheap chinese 9mm + my very reasonably priced achromatic barlow, but I'll chose that over this any time. It seems I have to look further for a planetary eyepiece.

Great eyepiece in that it is good quality for a reasonable price. Not comparing it to a $700+ eyepiece. Physically it is huge, and heavy. I returned mine. It’s just too unreasonable to use with any of my variety of telescopes (3 of them, from big to small) to justify keeping. I really wanted to like it, so it’s too bad.

I know that this isn't the best plossl eyepiece on the planet (i bought the 12mm) but it is LEAPS AND BOUNDS better than the stock eyepieces that came with my scope (Celestron Astromaster 130eq). I plan to slowly upgrade all of my eyepieces but dang, I love this one! The Omni line feels nice, like the build quality is good (i also have the 2x barlow). Overall, i'm quite pleased with my purchase. I took the attached photo by using a phone mount to the eyepiece (i have an iPhone XS), taking a short video and then using software to stack the images and remove noise. :)

Great wide field lens for Celestron 6se telescope. I use it every time I take the scope out. Feels like solid quality and image is great. Can get a large amount of Plaides and Andromeda but not all of them. Awesome for comets, clusters, other larger objects.

Possesseur de plusieurs oculaires deux fois le prix de ce 9 mm, ce dernier malgré un champ de vision légèrement restreint (mais suffisant) à de bien meilleur contraste et détails !!!! Impressionnant de précision pour la lune, et déjà largement suffisant pour planètes exemple détails sur Saturne: 4 bandes séparation tempête bien visible ainsi que la tempête "spirale" permanente, le tout malgré une observation avec pollution lumineuse grande ville... Bref pas la peine de dépenser plus !!!!😁👍
