It works a treat
The only thing I dislike is having a star rating to tick for sheerness and thickness - what does that mean? Anyhow this little light clamps easily to a thick table top. The light is quite focused but it really is for fine close work such as craft jobs or small precision repairs because it illuminates a small area that you are working on and that's why I bought it. One word of warning that I endorse the pamphlet that comes with it, never look into the lamp directly as it's ferociously bright and can damage your eyes. But taking care with it then it's a really good value lamp and does a great job.

Small but Mighty
I absolutely LOVE this little light.I do a lot of crafts and have recently got into cross stitch and embroidery, but sadly I also have the eyesight of a mole with sunglasses on, so I was struggling to both stitch accurately and read the tiny symbols on each pattern. Well, not anymore!This light may be tiny, but it shines like a police helicopter search light in the dead of the night. I no longer feel like my eyes are going to burst out on stalks when concentrating on detailed work. My sewing efforts no longer resemble those of a preschooler. I even remarked sagely to my 7 year old son, 'this little piece of kit is a complete game changer'. ('What's a game changer Mummy?').I've noticed that other reviewers feel the light is too small, however it is designed to fit on an embroidery hoop or book or similar, so it's not like you want something heavy giving you a dead arm after five minutes. This is one instance where size really doesn't matter.All in all, a 5 star product for me.***I try to be as candid as possible in my reviews, which I'm sure you will gather. A good reading light
This was a lot smaller than it looked in the picture. It's a nice light but just wasn't bright enough for craft work. Will use it for reading though as is a good light.

Lightweight and good for stitching
The provided batteries died very quickly, but I replaced with my own and the light works well. I use it for cross stitching and it clips to my embroidery hoop.

Ideal light for craft work.
Really pleased with this craft light. It is very bright as described and ideal for when I use it for doing my cross stitching and reading books. It is light enough to attach to my frame and the book I am reading.

Great little lamp
I just love this little lamp, I use it every day without fail. I attach it to my embroidery hoop, it's so light I can't feel any extra weight. It gives off a bright light and the batteries last ages. It also stands up without over balancing on an even surface i. e my chair arm. Whilst sitting I even attach it to the leg/hem at the bottom of my shorts (true) during my crocheting work. I highly recommend.

This little light is fantastic. Great value for money. The light it gives off is perfect for my cross stitching and the grip sits on my circle perfectly without being too heavy.
