I originally bought this as a gift for a mate based on what other people were saying. When he opened it I smelled it and decided to buy a jar for myself. It's absolutely exceptional! Yes, it comes in a small jar for a premium price, but you really don't have to use all that much (I have a long beard) to get the benefits. It definitely softens and scents my beard. My beard is in excellent shape after using this with the oil. Some may say that using both is a bit too much, but I use the oil when I get out of the shower before I blowdry my beard, then add a bit of the balm in before brushing with my wooden beard comb.When you take some out of the jar and rub it in your hands it may seem a little oily, but it doesn't go on oily or make your beard look oily. It just leaves it feeling and looking well conditioned and healthy as well as smelling amazing. I often get compliments.Yes, the price is high, but I use it sparingly and it lasts me a few months, so I'm not too worried about spending the money every so often for a magnificent beard. It's worth every penny.

It does a great job at the start but as the hours go, it sort of loses its hold, but decent enough for me to still use it, i've certainly had worse balms for hold and better. The biggest selling factor is the smell, I would give it 5 stars if it was priced a bit better. The price is a bit shocking considering for how much you get.. I would certainly get this as my main product, but the price is too much for me to get this regularly... I may get this once in a blue moon for special occasions.

I opened the jar, such a nice smell. And I was like, yep, deserves the extra money. This morning (the day after the first opening) I opened the jar to apply the balm, and there is Absolutely ZERO smell. Nothing, it is a little like chemical even from the butters or whatever they used. But from the scent itself - none! Any £5 worth would do the same! It feels like a scam. I had to trust the other review where they had the same experience.
