Everything looks very well crafted, there's no discoloration and it came perfectly intact. My only issue is that the metal is pretty thin but as long as your careful i think it should be fine.

This is so pretty, almost too pretty to use as a bookmark. We gave this as a teacher gift to my son's teacher and she said it was her favorite gift because it's something she can really use and it's not something she will get a million of.

I got the Cherry Blossom Bookmark for myself. It is even more beautiful in 'person' than the photos here on Amazon. I am an over the top reader and for many books that I get used and read in an evening, I don't need a bookmark or might dog-ear the page or use the dust jacket to mark my spot when needed. However, for special books (and only each of use can decide that for ourselves) I like to use a bookmark. This bookmark is for those extra special books that we might refer to many times.I was a bit concerned that because it was made of metal that it might be too thick to really use as a bookmark without making an impression on the pages. It might take several months with it inside a book with the pressure of other books to completely determine that, but the metal is much thinner than I was expecting it to be. I don't think it will be a proplem except for possibly Bibles with those super thin pages that just about anything will make an impression.I would have been truly delighted to have received this bookmark as a gift (I wouldn't mind getting the tulip one as well!) as it is so pretty and useful to me. I suspect that any heavy reader would love to get a bookmark like this accompanied by an Amazon gift card so that they can pick out their own book(s). It would make a perfect Christmas Stocking Stuffer as well. It came in an attractive box which makes gift giving especially easy.I appreciate the opportunity to try this out.Thank you very much.

Got this bookmark for my manga and I absolutely love it.It's very pretty and delicate. Very dainty and delicate.I love the colors and its also very lightweight.The box itself that it comes in is pretty as well, so it's gifting ready.I'm not sure about durability/sturdiness because the metal itself is on the thin side and it feels as if the chain can break off any minute.The only issue that arises is quality control? In the second photo you can see that there are flowers that are just completely covered with paint instead of being in-between the lines. You can see where the metal line is, maybe you can scratch it off if you're careful enough.Other than that, this bookmark is beautiful!

The is a lovely, metal, cherry blossom bookmark in gift style packaging.It's sturdy, not at all flexible, and more than thin enough to actually use as a bookmark. The thin chain with a blossom at the end would stick out of your book while the larger piece would anchor it in place in your book.It's lightweight and small enough to tuck in a pocket so you don't lose it.If you're wanting to give a gift that's both charming and useful, this would be a fantastic idea! The fact that it comes in a beautifully designed and illustrated box makes it even nicer.
