This paw protectant is so tiny. I have to replace my first review I made when I had the first shock on the small size. But, after a week of using this product I have to say this product is small in size but amazing results on dry skin on human hands and dog paws. Yes I did use the paws protectant on my hands and it’s amazing. And, yes I would buy it again. Also, you just put your finger on the bottom and push through the bottom and it will easily glide to the top. For those who don’t know how to raise the stick to the top that’s how you do it.

My dogs are generally very picky with any sort of a cream or any substance being put on their bodies whether it’s something for their ears or their paws or even if it’s boots for the winter. Every little thing bothers them but for some reason when I put this bomb on, they weren’t that bothered and they seemed to like it. Every time I open it, they know what it is and they are willing to let me apply it and I can notice the softness in their paws. I will definitely be ordering more.

it was my mistake, but i really thought for this price that it was going to be a much taller item considering most other paw balms are $5 or so. i shouldve double checked the size first. i chose this one because of the great ingredients and products multipurpose use. i worried my dog may lick it off but she did not and i definitely noticed that the paw pads are now super soft!i like the product just wish it was bigger for the price

I bought mainly to soften his paws but to also protect his paws from the hot arizona pavement for when we go on our walks. it sure has helped soften his paws. I'm not very religious about using it either. it's simple to use and doesn't stain. the only complaint I have is that it's supposed to be sick proof and my dog loves the taste. I put it on he picks it off I reapply and then give up as he picks his paw clean. but even with just the few short seconds that it stays on it has helped greatly about softening his paws and so far he hasn't gotten hurt by the hot pavement. that part is a bonus but we'll worth the money. I live in arizona and as we hit high 100+ temperatures it will be great to know his little paws won't get burned on that hot pavement. thank you for a product that works like it says! it also smells great and works on my rough hands too!

This was a nice idea, as soon as I started to try and use on my dog he didn’t want me touching his paws, as I struggle to get the product to actually rub on his paws it broke in half. I found it was easier to just take the piece that broke off and rub on his paws with the warmth of my hands it helped it to melt and easy go on his paws. Smells great, dog had not reaction from licking it. And his paws have improved. I have been doing it two times a week.

My dogs have very dry paw pads. I have tried bag balm and coconut oil. Both were greasy and left stains on my floors. They were also slippery for the dogs. I bought this product and used it once. My dogs paws are still soft 4 days later. You don’t need to use much. It is not greasy, not stinky and not slippery if you read and follow the directions.

This contains essential oils which is toxic and deadly to dogs. If your dog enjoys licking then do not buy this. I learned the hard way. I put the balm on her paws and she started licking her paws here and there. I thought “oh it can’t be harmful because it’s literally made for dogs.” Come 2 hours later (10pm) my dog threw up her food everywhere. 2 Hours after that, she has intense diarrhea. She woke me up every 3 hours to go outside to poop that night. Come 24 hours later, vomiting and diarrhea has increased. I took her to the vet today and my dog is now very ill. These has been a two day sickness so far. I’ve had to take work off and get my carpet cleaned. My heart is sad to see this. Regardless if this makes your dog sick or not, ESSENTIAL OILS are toxic and harmful for dogs please do not buy. A dog supply company should not have harmful additives to products. Not everyone who owns a dog knows exactly what dogs can and cannot have. It’s not the owners fault it’s not companies. Do your research before purchasing or possibly make a home remedy for their paws. Peace. Love. Kindness.

I have been using Davie’s paw protect for over a year. I use it most often in winter to keep my dog paws protected from the ice and cold. I also use it in the summer when my dog’s paws are getting dried out/cracking from the heat. Great product that is easy to apply.
