No it can't, and the costa logo smudges off quite easily if boiling water gets on it.

Hello, I'm sorry but I'm not sure what Costa's coffee cup size is but this seems quite large to me. It is supposed to be 450ml and I would think it was large or possibly medium. They should know if you take it to Costa what size it takes. Regards Fiona

what is the best way to wash this cup after using it?

I actually bought this for my daughter-in-law but as she hasn't got a dishwasher I'm guessing she just washes it when she does the washing up in a bowl with Fairy liquid or whatever. It always looks nice and clean to me and I would've thought a dishwasher might be too hot for it anyway.
