Not joking. I rarely review anything but felt the need to. Over the years I've tried making breadcrumbs (fail), tried crushed cornflakes (mmm okaaayish), and bought breadcrumbs (meh) but these are FAB! I came across 'panko' in a recipe and had never heard of it. When they arrived I did wonder if I needed that many (each packet, although only 300g, has quite a lot of product, as it is really light). I used it with a batter recipe from BOSH and made both aubergine and chicken nuggety type things for a katsu recipe - and they were delish. I used probably 75% of the pack to feed four people. It can also be used as a crunch in salads and on top of bakes - so the rest of the packet will be used this way. Also, the BBE date on this batch is not until March 2022 (It's Jan 2021) - so the other four packets will keep and be used in that time - if not before. Would totally recommend and will definitely be buying again. Nx
