Reliable, clear videos with no need for storage plans, battery life is exceptional.
I have 3 Eufy E30 indoor cameras, 4 Eufy S330 outdoor cameras, and a Home Base S380. Overall, I love these cameras (except for the very rare mistaking-cat-for-human or mistaking-deer-for-human issues that set off the alarms and scare my cats). Both video and audio are superb. And the features are plentiful and easy to access and use. In 3 months, 3 of the outdoor S330 cameras have used minimal battery (5%, 6%, 20% on one with more frequent recording), even in the mostly rainy, overcast Northwest, replenishing from the solar panel on the very rare sunny day. I don't recommend the Eufy Home Security System. Eufy never could get the paid monitoring system working, and I never could get the door sensors working, so I just rely on my iPhone's free SOS feature.

Awesome.. reliable and fast.. highly recommend
GOOD STUFF!!! So far I have had an awesome experience with this new system. Eufy customer service is the best I have ever experienced. They answer quickly and provide real support and stand behind their product. I can't stress enough how the support and responsiveness has exceeded my expectations. Some things to note.. if you have a larger home 4000+ sf and have stucco/brick exterior you will likely need a second homebase unit. Do not expect one homebase3 to cover 6 exterior cameras around the perimeter of your home. I had multiple communication issues and camera offline issues until I split cameras between 2 homebase3 issues one toward the back and one toward the front of the home. After adding second homebase3 no issues. Cameras pull up quickly on the phone app. Motion detection and recording is flawless. The app is excellent and allows you to fully customize when and what gets detected on which cameras etc. You can also easily filter out areas of the camera field of view to avoid nuisance detection...excellent implementation. The ability to store all recordings locally on honebase is a huge plus..love it!! Love the solar panels. Love the AI that can learn and recognize family members and distinguish from strangers.. so cool. This company is really working on cutting edge features that I really appreciate and will leverage. NOT AS GOOD The mounting brackets don't seem as robust as I would like.. they work but the eufy3 cams are pretty heavy and you really have to tighten things pretty hard to keep the cameras secure and prevent it from shifting under the weight of the camera. Not a huge deal but would like something with a little more strength and adjustability. I ordered a solar panel for one of the cameras that is mounted in an area where it can't get sun. I wanted to be able to run a power line from the camera to a solar panel outside the patio to pick up sun and charge the camera. I ordered the panel from amazon but it came without a water resistant gasket for my model of camera.. the gasket keeps moisture out of the area where the usb c power cable from the solar panel connects to the camera. I called Eufy and they sent me a new panel which I was told would include the gasket.. there was also no gasket in the replacement panel from Eufy.. so long story short I still have no good way to use the exterior solar panel and I am hoping that Eufy will soon make these gaskets available for the eufy3 camera.

Don't purchase
Great disappointment. Do not purchase. Just a few months after purchase, half the cameras have failed. There is no getting them to work again. (And who wants constantly have to be scaling a ladder to reach a camera to have to push a button on it, over and over again, hoping that it will reconnect with the system and actually go back to work?) 2 of 4 cameras are now overpriced decoys. Also, forget about using this product with a desktop computer setup, even with the "home base," over which you have almost no control whatever. (Not much information is provided about this in the product listing, and Amazon provides absolutely no means by which you can ask questions of the manufacturer (or other purchasers, funny how that option appears to have disappeared on Amazon) prior to purchasing this product, which is always a giant warning sign I ought to have paid attention to.) Outside of that, I will say that the cameras, when working, provide excellent image quality, although it seems to be impossible to get the system to start recording motion early enough so that you actually can view the entire episode of motion from start to finish. What I'm able to see always starts in the middle of things which is often too late to be useful. Transferring video from this system to your desktop computer so that you can actually use it is nigh impossible. The whole system just seems to be poorly designed, without any insight as to what people expect a home video security system to be able to do for them.

I love everything about this Eufy S330 camera system
I love this Eufy S330 camera system. It fits my two main requirements: 1. wireless and 2. No monthly subscription. Installation was straight forward. These cameras have a lot of configuration settings (a good thing) and it took me a little while to find out how to adjust the settings (I had a nice conversation with AI on my PC to determine where to find all the camera settings). The picture quality is great - much better than my older security camera system. I'm really surprised that a few reviews mention ads when using the app. The Eufy app works great and I haven't seen a single ad. The base system has a slot for adding 2.5" SSD memory that uses SATA interface. It was great that I was able to use a 2.5" SSD memory drive left over from my last PC update. A small amount of memory is provided without adding SSD memory but I feel safer having the additional memory. I installed two of the S330 cameras under the eaves of my ranch house and I hung the other two cameras from gutter clips (sold separately from other vendors). Each camera does have a light that you can choose to turn on or not. The light isn't bright enough to use as a walk-way light but it is powerful enough to give color to night vision. But you don't need the light to get great black and white night vision. Even though I installed SSD memory, I periodically delete most videos which are just me walking around the house or mowing the lawn. lt's easy to delete videos using the app. While the S330 cameras are exactly what I wanted, I did add one Solocam S340 to the system. I'm not reviewing it here other to say that it's great how it can move. Its AI system keeps the camera centered on moving objects.

Pretty Good System - UPDATED: Camera Failed
I live on a street with a lot of traffic. Out front cameras drained quick with vehicle detection turned on. Tried using an activity zone for just my driveway area but it still seems to detect cars out in the street. Person detection works off and on it seems. Got 1 video of a relative leaving (no face shown). Camera didnt detect them walking up when their face was actually showing. My Wyze cameras in my window caught them both, which is how I confirmed the Eufy camera botched the motion/human detection. I wouldnt recommend these for high motion areas (like a city) as the batteries can drain quick as they constantly pick up motion. Backyard cameras in constant sun, with little motion, stay charged and seem to work as they should. False positives on picking up sunlight reflecting off my grill or pool water as “motion”, but not awful. These also do need to be within 30ft of the Homebase. They DO NOT use your wireless network for communication to the Homebase. Hope that is a feature added in future builds. Cameras do not communicate well through block walls, windows, and other obstructions. I had to position mine with maximum of 1 wall between base and cameras mounted outside. You can purchase multiple Homebases to put near each camera, but that gets pricey. Batteries stay charged pretty well as long as they catch at least a few hours of direct sunlight each day. No issues there. 1 camera gets maybe 2 hours worth and still hangs between 90-95% charge. More motion it detects, it can drop to 80-85%, but thats 1-2 days of high activity. Full sunlight cameras stay 97-100%. But, the more detections, the faster it drains. Keep that in mind. Overall? Pretty good. 8.0/10. Sleek looking and very clean design. I’ve had them up for 2 months so far. Hoping the white holds up to fading/discoloration. I wouldn’t buy them again though, as I need always-recording cameras, which these cameras do not do (obviously, as they run on batteries). I bought cheaper Wyze cameras and installed them inside-looking-outside in window frames. They are plugged into 110v outlets so they have constant power and record 24/7. If I lose power, they go bye-bye though. Pro’s and Con’s. UPDATED: Cameras must have been waiting for this review to start failing. 2 of 4 cameras are refusing to charge with solar or cable. 1 has died completely and will not turn on at all. Used several different cables, several different charging bricks, Homebase charging port and Eufy USB-C cable… it will not charge or turn on. No lights, holding SYNC will not turn it on, etc. Other camera battery down to 7% and will not charge by solar or cable either. DO NOT use the custom setting. I repeat… DO NOT USE. This drains a full battery in 2-3 days, even with only minimal motion detections. No clue why, but it does warn that it can drain the battery. Stupid me. 2 of 4 cameras won’t charge anymore because of it. Odd side-effect. Looking to return the whole setup. Batteries do not survive anything other than a setting that has very few/very little motion. I’m sticking with my $40 Wyze always-record cameras mounted inside my windows pointed outside. Quality isnt 4k? But they cost x20 less and can record 24/7 without the threat of dying or having to be charged by cable consistently because there is too much motion going on. UPDATE: I was able to get with Eufy support this morning. Being passed to their engineering team. The camera, after sitting on a charger for 2 days and holding the SYNC button for 10 seconds last night, seems to have powered on finally. But, the light flickers red, then turns blue and blinks 4 times and turns off. This process repeats every 5-6 seconds. I cannot seem to find a blink code pattern in their troubleshooting/setup guides that explains it. 1st level Eufy support didn't know either. I assume the other camera that is refusing to charge will eventually die and have this same issue. I will update this review as more progress is made. Still a "Would Not Recommend".

Buy these cameras
I can’t say enough about this brand. This company has products that work. I highly recommend their cameras. Especially because there is no fee to store videos. The AI is top notch. The base stores all of your videos locally. Set up is painless. I’ve had so many cameras that are a hassle to pair with the app. Not these. 1.2.3 setup and use. The app is super simple and user friendly. The image quality is very good and the response is quick. Buy these. You won’t be sorry

Works but not thoroughly impressed
Functions nominally with a few issues. I was thinking the larger battery with fixed lens would be more practical, but in hindsight, I wish I had gotten all PTZ cameras so I'd have more flexibility. The field of view is VERY wide, so everything looks far away despite being 4K. A couple of the cameras have not made it to 100% battery yet. Motion sensitivity is very modest. You need to be relatively close to the cameras to initiate an event. They have missed several times with me walking or driving by. No idea what the problem is. Wish there was a one button pause on the notifications for when you are working around the cameras so I'm not constantly getting notified.. Something like pause for an hour or 2. Turning off the motion detection for each camera takes too many clicks. And the APP is HUGE. Biggest app on my phone. Occasionally, have problems connecting to cameras. Wish I had gotten all ptz cameras with separate solar.

First week review good so far.
Already had the Eufy duel doorbell cam (No Fees) Model T8213 with Homebase2 local storage (No Cloud Storage) and very pleased with this product. I added four S330 4K resolution solar powered cameras outside my house after reading and watching YouTube reviews. Got the four cam set on Cyber Monday for $430, regularly $699. They were easy to set up (even for seniors) and mount, but didn’t realize they connected to my existing Homebase2. Was easy to transfer connected devices and archived files to the included Homebase3 which has an expandable 16 TB memory capability that I have not used yet. The mounting brackets are awesome and versatile and easy to mount, the included Philips screws are junk and can strip out if you don’t pre drill mounting holes depending on density of material. They all have strong signals from Wi-Fi even though they are outside and some over 100’ from driver. Built in solar charging is working great. Even with cloudy days they recover well when sun is out. Only need 2 hrs of sun per day to maintain. Found it better to mount about 10-12’ high to get the required 5 deg tilt and on corners of buildings not over doors to take advantage of field of view. Amazing wide angle coverage. Anti-Theft setting will alarm and alert you if cameras are tampered with. Local indoor storage device secure the footage if someone destroys or steals cameras. If you have outdoor lighting you can use the black and white night vision setting instead of the color setting to be more battery efficient and recording will be in color. Have not used the AI for people and vehicle identification, because in rural setting with not much activity. All in all this is a quality easy to install, set up, and maintain security system solution for any home or business with secure local storage . Thinking about putting Wi-Fi and Homebase on power inverter for 24/7 coverage even during power outage or organized home invasion if someone cut utility power. Would recommend and buy again! Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings from the wicked who assail me, from my mortal enemies who surround me. Psalm 17:8,9

Excelente para monitorear el hogar
Excelente cumple con lo que anuncian. Pero si es recomendable hacer la instalación con cable de energía porque con mucha actividad se descargan rapido

EufyCam S330 (eufyCam 3) – Outstanding 4K Security with No Monthly Fees!
I’ve used several outdoor security cameras from different brands, but the EufyCam S330 (eufyCam 3) 4-Cam Kit is the far best home security system that delivers crystal-clear 4K video, advanced AI features, and truly wireless convenience. After using it for a few months, I’m very impressed! Pros: ➡️ 4K Ultra HD Video – Super sharp image quality with excellent night vision. ➡️ Integrated Solar Panels – Cameras stay charged indefinitely with minimal sunlight. ➡️ Face Recognition AI – Smart detection minimizes false alerts. ➡️ Expandable Local Storage – No cloud fees; store everything securely. ➡️ Spotlight & Two-Way Audio – Clear night footage and real-time ➡️ No Monthly Fees – One-time purchase with full access to features. Cons: ➡️ AI Face Recognition Needs Improvement – Sometimes misidentifies people or misses them entirely. ➡️ Initial Setup like Configuring face recognition and storage may take a little time if you are setting it up first time. ➡️ Requires Strong Wi-Fi – For smooth 4K streaming, a stable connection is essential. Also eufy If you’re looking for a premium, hassle-free security system, the EufyCam S330 is worth every penny. The solar charging, 4K resolution, and no monthly fees make it a top-tier choice for home security. Highly recommend!
