Why didn't I think of this?
If you don't understand why you should carry two cotton bandanas when you hit the trail, there are multiple YouTube videos on the subject. However, I like not only multi-use items, but ones that also contain useful information. Even old campers like me don't always remember how to tie some knots. This bandana has all the commonly used knots used in bushcraft except the Farrimond Friction Hitch, which is relatively knew and oh, so superior to the midshipman's' knot. Look this one up and learn it well.

Best knot illustrations
Love that this is 100% cotton. It is softer and more absorbent than bandanas with polyester in them. The illustrations are clear and much better than most knot drawings.

Printed very clearly and rope pix are very clear as well.
I quite like this. It's printed on one side, which is fine with me (the 'back' is white). I did quite a bit of research on these before deciding on this one, and I'm pleased to say it's as good as I thought it would be. The pix of the ropes are a great help and are surprisingly clear, and the text instructions are quite concise and clear as well. By the pix of others I looked at, this was the one that had the clearest print, and that does show up on the actual product. It doesn't have a bunch of things smushed together, no guessing which text is for which pic, and the selection of knot types are quite good. All ones that will be useful in many situations. Quite pleased.

So handy...pun (sort of) not intended
User's review: I received this (as well as the black constellation and orange emergency preparedness ones) from my partner who knew I'd love them, one: because they're hankies (which I actually use daily) and, two: I appreciate anything that's very utilitarian/serves a dual purpose; for our lifestyle, these are super useful (camping, backpacking, etc.) They are all useful in their own ways (though the glow-in-the-dark aspects of the others don't work well) but the pictures of the knots are great because they don't pull the rope all the way taut and you're able to see how the knot should be tied - we have a couple knot books that don't even do that. I took off one star for the handkerchief aspect of it - they're very stiff cotton, even after dozens of washings, and aren't very absorbent. I have tried to use these in daily life but they hurt my nose and make it raw, so I'll stick with keeping these in my daypacks and when we're camping, etc. Highly recommend!

Exactly what I was looking for
I work outdoors, alot of the time in the woods and just wanted a bandana that I could carry in my back pocket to wipe away sweat. After a wash it softened up and works great. Its a great reminder too when I see tracks in the dirt or snow while out.

Durable
I ordered this so that I can have pictures of the knots so that I can practice when I have spare moments. It's very well made has been holding up to multiple washes a week and still feels like the day I received it.
