Makes the best cup of coffee.
I tried these beans a few months ago ( not from Amazon) & in my opinion are the best tasting I have ever had. The coffee is so smooth, full of flavour & does not leave a bitter after taste. I purchased 2x1kg from Amazon for a far better price than my original supplier & the quality & taste are exactly the same. Will definitely purchase from here again.

Dissapointingly bland flavour, could have just been a bad/older batch
Im a huge fan of Ethiopian coffee beans, i spent hours and hours dialing in the grind size and extraction time hunting for the flavour from these beans.Alas it wasnt too be, the beans are good value for money and i could have just gotten an older batch but these werent for me.

great coffee
Great tasting coffee, or I really like it anyway. Price is a little more than Sainsburys coffee, but you get what you pay for.

Lacking the characteristics of Yirgacheffe coffee
For some reason the bag I received has acidity and not a lot else in its flavour, there is no floral or fruit flavour its just harse acidity. This is nothing like how Yirgacheffe beans usually taste and its really quite a disappointing cup whether it be brewed as a pour over, with the Aeropress or from a Moka pot. I suspect it is just too old and its lost too much from being stored for a long time.

Lovely cup of coffee
Really enjoy this as a mild but flavourful blend of coffee

Good very strong tasting coffee
I like strong coffee and this is probably one of the strongest I have ever tasted. I normally have 2 scoops per cup or 4 scoops per caffetiere and found 3 to be ideal. Quite a heavy complex tasting coffee

Flavourless and acidic
Yirgacheffe beans are my favourite coffee but the Suma Fairtrade I have bought for years is no longer on Subscribe and Save - so go this instead. It is packaged well and a reasonable price but lacks the aroma and taste that one expects from Yirgacheffe. In addition it is distinctly acidic - which some folk like I know, but I do not. So just have to pay up and buy Suma Fairtrade again.

Not the best taste but that is a matter of opinion but ...
Not the best taste but that is a matter of opinion but beans disintegrated too easily which made them difficult to grind uniformly
