Slide in the tray at an angle into the compartment and the friction fit will stop the tray by the sides. It sinks in about an inch from the top leaving enough room for bigger items underneath the tray. This simple tray should be part of the car purchase from Lexus.

Fits perfectly, keeps my most-needed items organized and easy to grab. Somewhat difficult to remove to reach items stored below it.

We're talking around a inch both directions (l x w).

We bought our new Lexus NX350h and it had a huge cavern in the center. Really nice that the lid opens both ways but if we were to put things in there, we’d be digging all the time trying to find whatever. This insert fits perfectly, comes in and out pretty easily and is really just right for the job. It only goes in and out from the driver’s position but that is fine as soon as you figure it out. I suppose they could add a little pull tab to make it easier to remove but no biggie. All in all, I’m really pleased. Seems to me Lexus should just provide this. They could probably make it optional for $50!

This did not work at all for my Lexus RX 350 H. It doesn’t fit and slides right down to the bottom. I just put a few things underneath it so that I can lay it on top but then you have to take it out every time you wanna get down to the things underneath. It’s not easy and was not made for the car. It does not work well for this vehicle.

It fits fine and looks good but it’s a little hard to remove when there is a small tissue box underneath.
