I purchased this for a friend that was concerned about some things going on in her neighborhood. It is an affordable way to add a little extra piece of mind when home. She says it has worked perfectly and can grab the door should the door lock fail. It was easy to install and quite sturdy

Easy install. I added one above deadbolt and one below. Can give you a little more time to be prepared before someone can get in. Just enough time to grab home protection tools.

These make me feel so safe in my apartment, I put two on each door in addition to one on my bedroom door. In this world you really can’t be too safe. Its so easy to use and not hard to lock speedily! It doesn’t look bad no one has noticed it at all! It fit perfect in all of my doors!

It is a very good device that locks the door from inside. it is difficult to open for kids, especially if you want to prevent a child that bolts out. I would recommend this device for some one scared of someone breaking in or a child opens a door.

Great to install for home safety and child safety. Only gripe I had with it was the quality of the screws a better material would keep it from stripping.

Wasn’t looking for door locks but found these during prime days and decided to beef up my exterior doors. One thing to consider before you purchase is whether or not your door has a 1/8” gap at the jamb. You need a slight gap to ensure your door won’t get hung up. If you don’t have a big enough gap, you can still install it, but you will need to chisel out some wood of your jamb. Not too many people want to start carving up their jambs. I certainly don’t.That being said, the locks are solid and seem like really good quality metal. Very simple to install, simply place it the height you want it, mark it off, the mark the center adjust screw. Drill a pilot hole and mount it to your jamb. You can then adjust it to make sure your door will close completely and allow the the lock to fully engage when the door is closed. Once you verify the depth for mounting, you can use the longer screws to mount it to the jamb.Once installed, I went outside and leaned my shoulder into the door and it didn’t budge. Gives me good peace of mind knowing that if someone busts my deadbolt while on vacation, they won’t be able to get in.These locks are definitely a good value for the money. Well designed, easy to install, easy to latch and release, and added defense to your entry doors.
