This cuts great, I had some large branches come down in the last storm, Up to 4.5" diameter, easy and convenient. Battery charge has lasted longer than I expected. A few things you need to remember. 1) This does not replace a heavy duty gas chain saw. 2) the chain will stretch on first usage - know how to adjust it (loosen locking nut before adjusting and Do not over torque the adjusting screw). 3) Be sure to oil the chain and bar - often. 4) Do not use continuously for long periods. there is a lot of plastic here, overheating could be an issue 5) Charging the batteries - When the green light comes on, remove battery from charger- never leave a LiOn battery in a charger. I have reviewed the images and feedback on this item - much of the issue is user error. While I don't think it would pass a drop test from height, it certainly has impressed me so far. Batteries and chains are available from seller, which is good to know as i'm not sure how long either will last yet. So Far - very impressed for <$40

UPDATE NOV 4 2025⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This company has a 1 year warranty built in so they sent me two new saw sets bc of my problems. I didn't need two, but since both old saws were broken within the year, they replaced them for me. Great customer service UPDATE OCTOBER 25 2025 ⭐⭐ unfortunately it seems that the new saw did exactly the same thing. The tension screw was threaded and the plastic guide that the bar should sit on broke or is warped somehow. So the bar doesn't stay on and you can't tighten the chain because of the screw. So the whole thing is completely useless again. And the only reason I'm giving it two stars now is because I really did love it when it worked! But the first one lasted me less than 6 months, and I was using it at the max, maybe twice a week! The second one I bought lasted 7 months. Of that 7 months, I only used it about 2x a week in March. Then I didn't use it at all until this month about 5 times! So in total, the maximum times that I used this saw was less than 15 times! There is absolutely zero reason that a mini chainsaw should only be able to use 15 total times or less and then be rendered completely useless because it breaks! I'm hoping that the company will replace it because I do like it! I just needed to work and not break! UPDATE MARCH 2025 ⭐⭐⭐⭐-- I still love this saw, but after less than 6 months it's already broken and unusable. The tension screw is threaded & the plastic guide that the bar slides onto shifted. So it does not allow the bar to fit correctly causing it to bind. Because of both of those problems I can't put the saw back together and it doesn't work when it is together. It was almost the same price for me to order another one versus trying to see if another bar would work. So I bought another one and we'll see what happens! Original post Nov 2024 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I really like this little chain saw. It doesn't cut through 6 inch b So sometimes I will use a whole battery while waiting foroards, but it will go through 4" branches. So it's perfect for what I needed with my apartment fireplace logs. It's light weight, easy to use, and pretty strong. The only complaint I have is that the batteries don't last super long. I'm guessing one lasted about 20 minutes. So if you have a lot of wood to cut, you need to take a break to recharge bc one battery takes well over an hour to charge fully.

Works exactly as should I needed something for cutting tree branches over my driveway. Cut pack branches with no issue. Very easy to use. Small size portable easy to move around. Amazing amount of accessories and extra chain and battery. Worked quickly to get job done. Even my dad was impressed he had bought my mom a small stihl one that was like $200 and this worked just as well he said.

Small but very portable. good for light to medium pruning. My only complaint is that the chain must be manually oiled with a drip bottle before each cut. Maintain it like a big chainsaw and it keeps on cutting.

This thing is amazing! If you're just trying to chop up some kindling for a fire, take a small branch down real quick, etc. this is so easy to grab and go! The case is poorly designed and not intuitive as to how to put the chainsaw Back into it, I wish there were more defined slots for everything and it was easy to see how it went in, but nevertheless for the price I couldn't be happier. I just wanted to take down some small branches hanging over my driveway that were far too thick to cut by hand and it did a fine job. Tiny branches that are just as easy to nip with hand nippers are best left to that, this thing will rattle on them a lot, but small 1/2" - 5" limbs cut beautifully. This is NOT a self lubricating chainsaw as it doesn't run on 2stroke! So remember after each use to spread a little oil on it and run it a few seconds to distribute the oil (turn the machine towards something and away from you so oil doesn't splatter so much). The chain could be sharpened, but the chains are cheap and we have a scrap metal place so I'll likely just replace the chain when the time comes. Chainsaws are inherently dangerous, and I think as cute and small as this is and how lightweight it is people can get complacent very quickly and end up injured. That is not the fault of this chainsaw though, just a precautionary disclaimer that even cute small tools are dangerous ones.

I love the compact size, it handles decent size logs, woody shrubs, downed branches. Being a lefty, I thought I would have to return it because you have to press a button and the trigger but I use my palm to hold the button in and the trigger is easy to work.

Did I ever get my moneys worth with this saw!! This saw cut through most of the tree limbs at home with ease. The size of it lets you get in to tight situations allowing the saw to cut properly. Most of the branches were 4 inches thick or smaller. Very surprising ability! It finally gave out after a couple of years of moderately heavy use. Definitely will buy another one!

I have been looking and comparing the small battery operated chain saws for months. My husband has always had big chainsaws for cutting firewood but I could not manage that size and his health has not allowed him to use one for over 2 years and the brush is taking over our yard. I finally decided on this one as it was an Amazon Choice. It arrived on February 26, 2023 and on March 4, 2023 was my first opportunity to use it. I charged the batteries and was good to go. It cut great and was light weight. I liked that the safety button has to be pushed in at the same time as you push the trigger to operate the saw. I have arthritis in my hands and I was still able to push both places with just the one hand. I also like the cover on the top of the blade as I felt it did make it safer to cut with. I am a 67 year on woman and I was excited to start clearing out some brush and small trees. I started cutting the small branches off a walnut tree then went on cut the 3-4 inch tree trunk into pieces. The saw worked great. It had good power and made a smooth cut. I was excited!! After getting the first tree cut down I was moving on to another spot and I stumped my toe and I realized I was not going to be able to stop myself from falling so I lightly tossed the saw so I would not fall on it. After I got up I looked over at my chainsaw I could have cried with disappointment as the handle had broken where the battery attaches. I had great plans for using it this spring. I do think it is a great saw and I am thinking about buying another one when I can afford to. I guess you can give a better review after using it longer than 15 minutes but it was an exciting 15 minutes for me and it worked great.

I tried it upon received, seems to be good quality so far, very light, just kind of paper with luck of information, no user manual, nothing about replacing the chain, this is why i voted only 4*

Very cheap quality, doesn't look at all like the one in discription. Came with only one chain, two batteries and one small screw driver. Batteries are of very cheap quality and no recharging option. Once assembled, it cannot be stored back in the box which means always disassemble after use.

Item not matching the listing … the picture is different then item which is a cheap and miasing items .. clear case of customer fraud beware
