have had the winch for a while. its on one of my rental trailers. it works great.

So I was a little hesitant to buy a winch off of Amazon, but I did it just to get me by till my other one gets here. So far it has done good. Installed the same day it was delivered, took about 1 hour but could have been done a lot quicker, I had to pull the old winch off and fix my old bumper. Me and a buddy went to the beach and found a guy stuck in the mud and surf. Used the winch to pull him out. So it done one job so far. The winch is great for the price of the unit. It’s not a named brand but for the price it seems to be built well. We will see how long and how well it works in the coming weeks. I will update the review as time goes on. I will add I didn’t use the supplied hook, for a 13,500 winch the hook didn’t seem right. After a couple of months of use I can say this is a great winch. We live on the gulf coast of texas and have recovered many people stuck in the sand mud and water

I bought it to take my 17 silverado out of the mud, I also purchased a tow hitch Winch tray, as well as a snatch block. The truck was stuck all the way to the frame and after installing everything on the truck it was able to successfully recover out of the mud. However the clutch sticker is not accurate. The engage and disengage are backwards.

Been using to cut down trees to get them to fall the rt way also used to move a large shed. I have ful size Tahoe and it slid the truck with wheels locked

(Bought on my wife’s account husband writing the review)To be fully honest, I bought this to make my vehicle look cooler which is why I didn’t spend $200 more on one from HF. It arrived quickly, was well packed and everything seemed to be of decent quality. I installed it as a hidden winch so it required a lot more work than if you mounted it normally. Because of that, I was sure to test it’s function as best as I could before fully installing. I have not used it fully yet because we have a newborn but intend to shortly.Update:While I have not been stuck enough to use it officially, I have tested it and feel very confident in it.
