This is a nice pack of movies
This is a nice pack of movies. A bit of a shame that they pretty much completely refreshed the cast without any reference for the last one. Not that it is a bad movie but one kind of grew into the series and completely ignoring the old protagonists is a bit of a shame. The girl always thanking her boyfriend for doing nothing but rarely her dad for rescuing her is a decent idea for slapstick dialogues and they did make a weak effort of turning it that way but just not enough. Still, good movie to watch.

Seeing Age of Extinction at the Cinema I didn't enjoy it. Could have been cos the seats where uncomfortable for me. Wasn't due to people being rowdy as Only 3 in the cinema lol. But after watching this at home I really enjoyed it I could hear everything and see things i missed,. Fantastic Movies...Fun for all the family.... But I have to say BUMBLEBEE Rocks lol.

transformers what more can i say
i love it , the other half hates it , but she's got no taste in movies (if it's not a zombie flick she doesn't want to know) if you love smart cars , robots , great special effects and lots of big explosions , then these are the films for you .

Region free
Not much you can say really, if you're a fan of these films then you'll love the blu-ray set, this one's particularly handy as it's region free meaning I could send it to my sister who lives in New Zealand without worrying whether or not it'd work on their blu-ray player. :-)

Good value collection, not so sure about all the movies, though...
Bought these in a 'flash deal' during the Christmas sales, having seen the first movie.I can't really criticise the box set of these films, all the movies are in a cardboard sleeve, individually packaged in a standard blu-ray case for each film. First three movies are standard retail single disc editions, the latest movie includes a bonus disc. Nothing exceptional to say about the cover designs for the movies, and the sleeve design is something of a budget afterthought in my mind, certainly not a 'box set' to get excited about on the shelf. It's a generic 'collection' and looks better with the individual spines facing out, rather than making a display of the box.Saw the first movie and enjoyed what I saw. The effects lend themselves to high definition format, although they also need quite a large screen to make the most of the extremely busy visuals. The screen is certainly filled frequently with a lot of fast moving action. Nostalgia for the original television animation quickly gives way to engrossing action sequences, albeit somewhat devoid of credible plot, and I can't really get too excited about the transformation (no pun intended) of the principal characters into jive-talking, colloquially defined, samurai-esque manga robots from their more angular and less complex forebears. But hey... this is the Transformers we're talking about, not the latest Ridley Scott...Honestly, the second and third films held my attention, but only just, and probably only because the story threads warranted completion.I'm still not sure how to take the fourth movie. Is it a reboot? Or just a random time shift? The stage was changed, but the look of the film didn't, and it started to just feel like the same set of mishaps happening to a different guy and resulting in an urban mega-battle between big-azz robots and some puny humans who are sticking up for them. All in all, I find it hard to complain too much because I got a four-movie box set for less than the price of one and a half cinema tickets, and I'm sure I'll watch them again at some point.Good value at bargain prices, lets hope the producers either up their game or retire the franchise.
