This eye lotion is brilliant and although my dog's eye infection was quite severe it has instantly given relief and helped with all the crustiness build up around the eye. It is early days to know if it will clear up the infection entirely and if it doesn't I may yet still have to attend the vet, but I am amazed at the difference it has made already!!! So easy to use with the dropper. Delivery was very quick and 'exactly' as stated and I am delighted with this product and would highly recommend it.

Good product saved another trip to the vets! I think I used it for too long as soon as her eyes weren't pink any longer I should of stopped using it. I used it twice a day. My dogs eyes have stopped discharging. 1 point Beaphar eye lotion 0 point over priced vet.

Easy to use, absolutely value for money, my cat eye infection was cleared up in 7 days. I don't really leave reviews but I had to because this product does actually works. Make sure when you use it, you use clean cotton wool and each eyes, don't use the same one to clean the other eye, wash hands before use and after, I also use it twice a day, in the morning when you wake up and in the evening say around 6pm, also clean around the eyes with clean cotton wool at all times, I suggest buying a small bag of cotton wool as you will need at lease 3 to 4 pecies a day, after cleaning then use the drops in both eyes, hold your cat head up for a few seconds so it settled into the eyes. You will definitely see the result in one week, it works for my cat. 100 percent.

It's OK but my dogs needed prescription drops

Can't fault this product. It is basically salt water with preservative and stabiliser. But before you rush off to mix a tablespoon of salt with a bucket of water I should add that its purified water, not tap water and I'm guessing the salt is pure sodium chloride too, not table salt complete with anti caking chemicals. So, I tried this on my elderly English cocker spaniel who had green gunk in his eyes. I don't know if it was an infection or allergy to pollen but this soothed his eyes immediately. I put 2 drops in each eye, 4 times each day for a week. I also continued to wipe the gunk away with cotton wool, moistened with cooled, boiled water. I think if your dog doesn't improve after a couple of days you should see your vet but this is well worth trying. His eyes are now perfectly clear with healthy whites instead of sore pink. If in doubt, see your vet. You must use with 4 weeks of opening. Another reviewer mentioned the product smells. It doesn't but maybe her bottle was defective. I would return it if it smells when first opened.

My 4 year old cocker spaniel was suffering with persistent eye infections, this also resulted in hair loss around her eyes which was causing great distress for all of us. Having spent a considerable amount of money with lotions, potions and investigative procedures by the vet, all of which only worked for a short period of time, I decided again to search for an alternative and more cost effective product. Thank goodness for Beaphar, we are now four months in and no sign of gooey runny eyes. I give her a drop in each eye morning and night, the product is easy to apply and lasts for ages. We now have a very happy doggy and do not have the expense of horrendous vet bills
