Excellent Product
Excellent product, does exactly what it is supposed to, there is a handy measuring scale on the side of the bottle so you use the right amount. I use it once a month on my glass kettle as we are troubled with limescale here in south east england and it works well keeping it clean.

Works great but sooooo overpriced.
This product is very easy to use and certainly does its job totally especially with a glass kettle like mine. However I think the price for a 250ml bottle is very high.

Works perfectly!
I live in a hardwater area being in London.I have gone through so many kettles over the years and never for once thought about using a descaler before. I had purchased this descaler with a brand new Russell Hobbs kettle. Upon arriving, I tried the descaler on my old kettle and was blown away - the heavy encrusted limescale deposits were indeed being broken down in the quoted 10 minute window. I then rinsed the kettle out and did one more final application, leaving the liquid in there for 2hrs - the kettle was almost as good as new - minus the broken mesh filter that couldn't be reused thanks to the limescale damaging it.I have since bought a second bottle because it isn't exactly expensive and could be useful on my coffee machine too.

Vinegar would do the same job
Not great, not terrible. However, my choice would be vinegar becauae it isn’t that toxic and it’s much cheaper.

£3.49 at Russell Hobbs! Great kettle cleaner
It’s only £3.49 still in Russell Hobbs! I do love this stuff but as soon as Covid took over then the price an Amazon trebled! I have a Russell Hobbs kettle and I have tried all sorts of different descalers but this is by far the best. Three quarters fill the kettle and boil, then pour a capful in and wait a couple of minutes. So quick and sparkly clean! Just rinse twice. Others you have to boil and rinse several times to remove the chemical smell but this has no smell or taint. It’s great.

I never write reviews BUT....
I live in London where the water is very hard, I use a kettle with a built in Brita filter but it still had a lot of limescale at the bottom of it. I was actually on Amazon to buy a new kettle when I came across this product. The kettle came out sparkling after following the instructions, although the instructions say to boil the kettle until it starts to fizz (I assume they meant to bring it to a boil). After doing the final rinse I used a clean cloth to wipe out a slight residue and the kettle looked good as new and saved me £40 on a new kettle
