It is simply the best
This fume extractor was highly recommended by others for good reason. It is nothing short of excellent — better than any extractor I’ve used before. The motor is strong and the blade pitch really creates a powerful draw. The shell is steel with powder coat paint — not at all flimsy like lesser units out there.

Great Smoke Absorption, Needs Exhaust Option
The Kotto solder smoke absorber has strong suction and pulls in the smoke very well. However, for my needs, I was looking for something that not only absorbs the smoke but also vents it out or filters it away from the workspace. It works well, but keep in mind it doesn't exhaust the smoke outside.

Great for stained glass use
This worked out great for my stained glass hobby. I used this in addition to my respirator mask and it really did help keep the fumes out of my face. It’s easy to use and very durable. Simple machine but it does the job. I liked that it also came with an extra filter!

Better than expected.
Works well. Good suction for at least 12 inches. Solid and well made. The filter surely does not remove any chemicals but it does filter out the smoke from the flux. It's not a fume hood, but at this price, you can't go wrong.
