I use these tripods to hold my mics when I’m going field recording for my podcast. The tripods are light, durable, and fold up well. The only downside is that the Phillips screws used to hold the legs in position frequently get very loose. So, I carry a Phillips head screwdriver with my kit to retighten the screws. But other than that, these tripods are GREAT.

Just received this and it works like it supposed to. I did trade out the mic clip for the one that came with my Shure SM58 just because it fits more snug.

We visit several senior citizen homes each month and they all have microphones, but it was not confortable to hold the mike while talking to the residents. This item is perfect as the rubber mount expands to hold any sized mike that we have found at these places. It is easy to adjust and works perfectly.
