Renaissance Festival in a Wonderful Rom-Com!
Lulu Malone has been on a mission to become partner at her law firm for quite some time now, and for the last five years it's always been "maybe next year". Well this year she's had enough. After having an epiphany in the middle of a faire she quits her job and throws her phone in a tub of water. With no phone, no job, and no idea what she's doing, taking her cousins advice to travel with friends of his on the renaissance faire circuit might not be such a bad idea. All she's got a do is avoid Dex MacLean's charms and winning smile. It's not that hard, right? But spending long summer days and nights with Dex is showing Lulu that not everyone is what they seem. And what happens when the summer comes to an end? This is the fourth book in the Well Met series from Jen DeLuca and I loved it. I do wish it was dual POV story, but I've wished that from book one, so it's no surprise. And even without Dex's POV I think she did a great job of dropping little hints to give you a deeper understanding of his character early in the story.I absolutely loved the way Dex and Lulu fell for each other and the way they cared for each other was just so great. I love the way they were able to communicate with each other and the grand gesture at the end was just perfection. I also loved watching Lulu learn about tarot card readings throughout the story. And the addition of the fortune tellers was wonderful, as was getting to see everyone from the previous books.I would definitely recommend this one to anyone who enjoys the following.✔️ Reformed Playboy✔️ No Strings✔️ Forced Proximity✔️ Renaissance Festivals✔️ Found Family Vibes✔️ Tarot Card Readings✔️ Road Trip Vibes✔️ First Person Single POV

Best of the series
If you haven’t read the RenFaire series by @jendelucawrites , you are missing out. Especially with the latest addition, Well Traveled. I have to say this is my favorite so far. While all the others were cute, I related to Lulu needing to balance work and life and the need to escape it all.Lulu chooses to visit the local RenFaire while she is out of town for business. She has the high power lawyer job her parents expect. What she doesn’t have is a life outside of that. It doesn’t take much for her to figure out that she will never make the partner position, she had been working so hard for….so she walks away. Walks away and right into the life of the Faire. It doesn’t help that Dex is around…with his eye on her. Dex, the playboy from the prior books.5 stars

GUH I LOVE EVERY BOOK IN THIS SERIES.
Seriously, returning to all these characters was SO FUN and wonderful!!! I wasn't sure how she'd pull off Dex as a hero but I wasn't disappointed at all by DeLuca's 4th installment. They're PERFECT summer reads, too. So atmospheric and magical with the Ren Faire setting. This installment did skew a little bit more toward the women's fiction focus but I wasn't at all mad about it--I'm so invested in these characters and their lives and their romances, I was still left totally satisfied on all sides.

Pure Escape
Working at a Renaissance Faire is an escape from real life. In much the same way, Jen DeLuca’s books are an escape. It is so easy to become lost in them, to wish you were a part of them. Her writing draws me in. Her characters are so relatable, they seem like old friends. Her latest, Well Traveled, is no exception. I began reading it two days ago, and I couldn’t put it down. I couldn’t wait to see how things would work out between Lulu and Dex, and I couldn’t wait to return to the Renaissance Faire setting. If you are looking to escape for a few hours, I highly recommend Jen DeLuca’s books!
