Hungry for Change

A Bargain Useful Find From Amazon Because
Hungry For Change is a shrewd documentary pertaining to the culture of body transformation. Some of the pros involve the inclusion of a multiple number of people who are connected with some type of solution andor program for viewers looking towards improvement with their body, mind, spiritual andor fitness goals. Additionally, one of the people interviewed communicated matter of factly on why a person must consider both what they eat and metaphorically what is eating them in their life to see more beneficial, happier andor more satisfying long term andor permanent change. Additionally I am lucky that I have an amazing husband who is supportive of my interest in this type of information and some of the people interviewed did helpfully discuss and imply how external influences and the people in your life may indirectly shape your plans. I also like the discussion on some of the foods and some spiritual/mystical ideas shared in relation to the theme of this documentary. My only caveat is that I wish the food ideas and spiritual tip ideas were discussed at least 10 to 15 more minutes longer in the Hungry For Change documentary. Aside from that caveat I am happy to have found out about this valuable/useful documentary when I followed an intuitive andor rational prompting by pure lucky chance to search online via a google search key words that listed a what to watch recommendation and this documentary metaphorically called to me out of the multiple others listed and I only wish that I knew about this Hungry For Change documentary much sooner.

TIRED of YOUR LIFE AS IT IS? HUNGRY FOR DRAMATIC CHANGE? Read This Review!
BUY IT. I also bought FOODMATTERS, HUNGRY FOR CHANGE, FORKS OVER KNIVES, FOOD INC., SUPER SIZE ME, FAT SICK & NEARLY DEAD, GOT THE FACTS ON MILK, and TAPPED.First I cut way, way, way back on sugar (not completely ought though.) I lost about 10 lbs in about 3 weeks. Then I bought a "Hamilton Beach" Big Mouth Pro Juicing Machine. I lost 20 lbs the first week doing the detox method (juicing fresh, almost all organic veggies and a little fruit.) I was not hungry, though I still had some cravings for sweets, steak, etc. It is important to know that I never let myself get hungry. I drank the 16 oz juice 3 times a day for 21 days snacking on cut up fresh veggies when I felt the need. My weight loss stalled a little, then slowly started moving again. It has been 6 weeks now and I currently have lost 40 lbs., went from a 38" waist to a 34." My shoes are now laced as tight as they will go and are now slip-ons. I feel & look healthier. I have a better attitude now and my doctor took me off most of my meds. He said over time, I may get off them all.Honestly, you do have to have drive, enthusiasm, and determination. However, you do NOT have to be hungry and want to make sure you are not hungry. Otherwise you trigger a starvation involuntary bodily response to store fat due to the bodily perception of food shortage. This is only one reason why ordinary DIETS DO NOT WORK!Are you tired of your life as it is? Hungry for dramatic change? GET BUSY! I am NOT sorry I decided to change.P.S. - Look at the following Books: "The Juicing Bible" and "The Big Book of Juices." I found them helpful.

Love yourself
One of those documentaries that is almost depressing at first, but stick with it. I wonder if I would rate it differently if I wasn't already on the quest to eating healthier and loving myself from the inside out. I've struggled my whole life with body insecurities, crazy diets. Lose a lot of weight, gain it all back and then some. By gain and all back and then some I am not talking 25 pounds. I lost 99lbs in a year in 2007 and then gained 140 back (yes that WAS how unhealthy and awful my life was as a yo-yo) I got to a point where it was just too much. I was depressed, tired, and even when I *thought* I was eating right, I wasn't any happier.I realized I needed a mindset change and I was ready. I read books and watched a variety of different documentaries. Hungry for Change was one of the dozen or so I've watched. it's also one I come back to. There are some really inspirational people here who have come a long way to loving themselves. If you're like me, then you could definitely use to love yourself a little bit more. Don't feel selfish. Just do it.

This moving is amazing
Awesome movie, I was lucky enough to get invited to see this movie while it was available online for Free, I invited friends and family to view it but they were busy with every day life and couldn't see it, so I purchased it to pass it along to them. It helped my sis-in-law go vegan and that is one more person getting rid of her chronic illness the plant-based way. I am very happy how we can use movies to educate people on health. There is so much more to the story than this movie, I have a hard time myself currently getting my parents to change eating fast food and meats is in our culture and that is all some of us know. It is a breath of fresh air to know a lot of chronic illness can be cured just by lifestyle changes. Doctors don't give patients enough credit, they just give them medicines and make them sicker, instead of trusting that a patient may just change their ways. The pharmaceutical companies love that and so does the dairy industry, were being lied to and any movie that allows us to have the power to take ahold of our health is a great movie to see.

du bist was du isst!

Eye opener
I am writing this review because I believe everyone should view this movie. It was extremely informative. I think a lot of people are not aware what goes into our foods. It is a very powerful eye opener. And my eyes were open. It finally hit home all the chemicals that we don't think twice about putting into our body.Hungry for Change has improved my health immensley.I recommended this video for anyone who wants to make healthy choices in life. And even those who are not ready. It is very educational. The people that were being interviewed did a very powerful job.Enjoy,

Excellent documentary, quality DVD
The documentary itself is a life changing one, you'll never eat the same way again after watching it. The DVD came as expected in its original packaging, was a bit of a wait on delivery time (about 2 weeks), but nothing major.

Nothing here that hasn't been said time and time again ...
Nothing here that hasn't been said time and time again. Go for books instead - Kris Carrs - Crazy Sexy Diet or Kimberly Snyder ' Beauty Detox soulution' or for Juicing - any of Jason Vale's or Joe Cross
