Deliciously awesome!

This product is fantastic. During the holidays, our family tradition is to make a mushroom soup with farfel. Since Mrs. Weiss farfel is no longer made, and it is very hard to find any type of farfel in our local stores, I bought this product for our soup. It was fantastic. It tasted great! It was exactly what the recipe called for. I highly recommend this product.

This was exactly what I have been looking for. My grandma used to cook this and I loved it! It is hard to find in our area and all I have found was matzah farfal which was not the same. It has brought back so much nostalgia and memories of my grandmother.

The Farfel is perfect. I had a difficult time finding the type of farfel I was used to making and decided to try yours. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I brings back wonderful memories of my childhood and I now can make it for my children and grandchildren in the way my mother made it for me. Bless you.

Expanded too much and tasteless.

I have to admit, I was a little skeptical when I first saw Ferencz's Kosher Haimishe Farfel Crumbs in the grocery store. I mean, how good could a bag of crumbs really be? But I am happy to report that I was pleasantly surprised by the awesomeness of these farfel crumbs.First of all, let's talk about the packaging. The old-fashioned design and Jewish stuff on the front immediately caught my eye and made me feel like I was in for a treat. And let me tell you, I was not disappointed.I decided to use the farfel crumbs as a breading for chicken tenders and the results were nothing short of miraculous. The crumbs added the perfect amount of crunch and flavor to the tenders and my whole family devoured them.But the real test came when I used the farfel crumbs to make matzo ball soup. And let me tell you, these crumbs did not disappoint. The matzo balls were light, fluffy, and full of flavor. My non-Jewish friends even asked for seconds!In short, if you want to take your cooking to the next level (and make your Jewish booby proud), you need Ferencz's Kosher Haimishe Farfel Crumbs in your life. Trust me, your taste buds (and your inner grandma) will thank you.

I was happy to find farfel, actual old fashioned farfel, (NOT the matzah farfel for Passover) It is really hard to find this in our grocery stores, even the kosher ones. I have been using Israeli Couscous as a substitute for a while, but now that I have the real thing back, I'll be ordering this again!

arrived fast and on time. packaging was excellent. fried the farfel in butter/oil mix along with onions and mushrooms, seasoned with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder, and used chicken bone broth (about 12-16 ounces) instead of water in a covered pan on stovetop until liquid was absorbed. tasted great. i can't find this in my local supermarket, so i appreciate being able to order this whenever i get the craving.
