Very good value, easy to put on, adjust, and remove. Feel the burn!
Great price, easy to put on and adjust, and remove. Be sure to make sure the little loop that has a Velcro patch for pressing the excess elastic banding to is close to the metal adjuster and positioned such that the Velcro doesn't touch your skin, otherwise you will feel a little itch. Appears to be quite effective, and I am careful to stay under 10 minutes of use before removing them from my arms. I notice good biceps 'burn' towards the end of sets of ten reps, but even better triceps burn... nice!

Step up your training with BFR!
Use once a week and reap the benefits. 80% cutoff is the key for maximum results. Use sparingly, but highly effective and one of my favorite gym accessories. Lasts a long time as well.

Like sythol for your arms
After working out with these things for a few workouts, I'd look in the mirror and have to ask...are those MY arms? The pump would be incredible if it wasn't real, but it's real. Legs, I can feel the pump, but I don't see it like on bicep and tricep days (which BTW are not on the same day - if you used these BFR bands while doing biceps and triceps in the same workout, then you are asking for stretch marks IMO). I cannot achieve the same pump without these things now. Takes some getting used to dialing them in for the right pressure and then letting it off. I recommend warming up with them at a lower pressure before going balls out trying slam your muscles with blood. I find that for the right pressure for the best pump, if I leave them on at that pressure after the set, there's *something* that just tells me to loosen those things the F up like right now. It's not pain or anything, just weird. Another thing, one of the bands' buckle spring consistently bit into the elastic such that it pulled loops of threads out and I repeatedly had to cut them off with a sharp scissors or they would hang up the buckle such that I couldn't release the pressure when I absolutely had to. That band has a frayed edge all along where I use it from all the cuts. Not sure how long it'll hold up, but it's been a few months now.

Performs as advertised!
I stumbled upon an article about occlusion training in one of my online news articles so I did some research to see what it is all about. The science is definitely there to back up the training so I just needed to find some quality BFR bands to try out. I ordered the BFR Bands PRO X Model, 2 Pack on Wednesday, May 1 and they were delivered Saturday, May 4 (I chose the standard free shipping). I finally got to try them out tonight and all I can say is...wow! I was eager to try them because having recently turned 60, I just can't pump the weight I used to be able to so a lot of time run out of steam long before I can get a good pump. I used these tonight and did some bicep curls with the bands on. I used 10 lb dumbbells (about 20% of my 1 rep max) and did the 30-15-15-15 rep sets. Also did some tricep pull downs and incline bench press using the bar with 30 lbs on it. I got such an incredible pump. Not sure I had the bands quite tight enough but it was my first time so I didn't want to over do it. I haven't had a good pump like this in a long while. Its been a couple hours since my workout and my arms are still "shaky" indicating I got a decent workout. These bands are great. Easy to put on and easy to take off. And the markings help make sure you get the same "pull" on each arm (or leg depending on which you are using them on). I'm really looking forward to seeing how my muscles react to this new type of workout over the next few weeks. I was also experiencing paid in my elbow when curling before with heavy weights; didn't have any pain at all using the 10 lb dumbbells but got a hell of a lot better pump. I am now a "believer".

Good product until it wears out in a few months
The first problem is the instructions. A link to the videos didnt work. I had to go back to Amazon and eventually got to the correct link. After watching several of the videos, with different instructions for different style bands, I still couldnt find out how to set the tightness. It has numbers on the bands...it would have been good to know approximately what number to set it at. I dont know what "70% tightness" feels like. In fact I never did figure it out. But I know when it feels too tight so I back off a little from "too tight". The BFR system of working out has convinced me it is effective. The system assures that you exercise to intense lactic acid burn. Probably would have also worked without the bands. The biggest problem is that after about 3 months, with light daily use, both straps are now broken. The mechanism for tightening and release just isnt that durable. So take that into account if you decide to buy. I will replace with a different band and hope that it holds up better.

Seem great so far
Seem great so far. I cant rate the results because right now Im coming back from an 8 month weight lifting break. Im about 1/2 way back, size and strength wise. However the pump was INSANE. I cant remember the last time I got a pump like that in my arms. Especially biceps. Didnt notice a huge difference in contraction intensity with the triceps yet. Will see how next day soreness is on them. Thatll give me some idea. My biceps actually got sore from 25 lb and 15 lb dumbbell curls at home, with these bands. My arms are back around 18 1/2 inches cold flexed, so that kind of weight would normally have ZERO effect on soreness and be hard to get a deep pump from. My max size is 19 1/2 inches cold but I still have to put some more meat back on the rest of my frame for the arms to fill back out. Maybe in another month. The purpose of me using these bands is two fold. First I wanted an alternative to training heavy EVERY session for when my joints need a break. I always train to failure and when you get to a certain strength level, the side effect is that you have to go not only very heavy but very high rep with that heavy weight to reach failure. My muscle endurance is also pretty extreme from all the volume Ive always hit. This takes a huge toll on the joints. However my main purpose of trying these is that my arms have not broken 19 1/2 inches cold flexed. They hit that mark in 2012 and everything else has grown except my arms since then. Im hoping these will force the arms to adapt to something more intense. I did not really change my working weights despite having the bands very tight, however some of my sets were much lighter and they produced a more intense pump then my heavy sets usually do. I think there is alot of potential with these to break a plateau. Once I get back to my old size I can really test that and see if thats the case. Ive tried everything training wise at this point, basically. Up to 100 sets to failure weekly, split into two arms sessions was the maximum of what I tried training wise. Normally I was doing 50 sets of arms to failure, using dropsets and beyond failure techniques once a week. Now I will try less volume but hopefully the more intense contractions will do more damage than usual.

Great bands, great customer service
These are my first blood flow restriction bands. I've only been using them for about a month but have definitely noticed in difference in muscle growth and strength... I do seem to have stronger and faster muscle contraction which would make sense since BFR training promotes anaerobic fast twitch muscle growth. Another unanticipated benefit is that my elbow tendonitis and a chronic left knee issues seem to have improved. Not sure if this is from better muscular support or some other metabolic effect. I do use these bands on both my arms and legs and I think they are a good compromise of width and stretch. If you have short arms narrower bands may work better and if you have big legs some thicker, stronger bands may be more appropriate. The quality is great and the pull to tighten buckle works great for arms since you can only use one hand. I did lend them to a friend to try and he opened the buckle all the way to loosen the bands and destroyed the springs (user error). I emailed BFR and they sent out replacement springs right away! Great product support! Just make sure to use the buckle as intended... when loosening bands just lift buckle slightly and band tension will loosen and if you can't get your fingers under the buckle you can get them under both the band and buckle to release pressure. The later is probably the best way to loosen them anyway.

Flawed design and poor workmanship
This product is poorly designed. The buckles catch my arm skins, pinching hard each time. The glue on the stitches inside the band is hard and sticks out, scratching my arms. Can't use it for more than 1-2 reps. It didn't help that the package came with one page manual with a broken link to supposed instructions and tips. Can't see them if link is broken.
