PHILIPS Xenon X-TremeVision Gen2 +150% D2S HID Xenon Bulbs Set Of Two 85122XV2S1

Replaced my $250 Bi-Xeon headlight Bulb in my 2007 Mercedes GL 450. Getting to the spot to remove the old bulb was a two hour effort. Trying to put it back on was another two hour effort. Once I knew the trick what I was doing wrong, it took seconds. But that is an Issue with Mercedes and not part of the performance review of these bulbs. I am using them for headlights and my very expensive original bulbs was barely visible at night. After spending weeks looking at every bulb possible bulbs, I settled on these. The price was higher than others but from what I learned from research is the longevity of these are excellent as compared with some cheaper models and brands...I don’t want to be changing bulbs every couple of months so I wanted a good durable product. The videos on these showed they were the brightest and after installing, I can confirm that they are very much brighter. There are lots of counterfeit bulbs out there so be careful. These comes with the Phillips counterfeit bulb check. Now while driving on the road I do see other cars with much brighter headlights but I will attribute that to being LEDs and a completely different technology. Also every since installing, no oncoming vehicles has ever flashed their lights on me so I can take that I am not blinding the on coming drivers. The lights are a bit whiter than the yellow factory bulb I replaced. But not overly white as some other cars on the road. I am told that for distance, the warmer bulbs are better the the bright white which fades faster in distance projection.Obviously I just bought these so the longevity rating is based on the reviews I saw and the published rating on the packaging. Only one of my two factory installed bulbs failed in the 13 years having this SUV...so I am expecting never to have to change these before retiring this vehicle.

Excellent seller with OEM authentic Philips HID bulbs. When I received them I did not see "seal of authenticity" and contacted the seller. They promptly returned with explanation and instructions on how to check since Philips changed "seal of authenticity" down to QR code that automatically takes you to Philips website where you are asked to upload clear up close picture of the packaging. Results came back as Philips authentic product. Seller bookmarked! WIll be buying more from them! OEM 2004+ Mercedes ML GL projector headlights, even with Active Curve option, have very poor quality projectors with oxidizing/rusting reflector and subpar Fresnel style lens that with time just gets dimmer regardless of what HID bulb you put in it. I retrofitted my 2008 GL with EVO-R 2.0 projectors from Morimoto with these Philips HID bulbs. The results are staggering! It rivals the latest HID projectors in newest vehicles and even some multi-LED light equipped vehicles. The only way to get the best out of these bulbs is to retrofit new projectors in these Mercedes vehicles. Bulbs themselves are phenomenal! I was concerned that they are not white enough, but they put a lot more visible light further down the road than 6K bulbs with barely much difference in "whiteness". They will also perform much better in rainy and foggy conditions than 6K bulbs due to much less glare output. So these are super bright, hard to tell on the country road but nearly all the light is coming from the driver side that I replaced with the new bulb. (Yes I’ll do the other side as well) I didn’t take a before picture however it was so dim that depending what the light conditions were you couldn’t even tell if my lights were on, other cars as they passed me would overpower my lights.My car has 3 positions I can adjust the direction to point down or more straight.Totally lit up the road and the high beams are ridiculous. Surprised these are legal fortunately I can point them down... they are still bright.

These bulbs are an excellent upgrade from factory HID bulbs. The brightest measurable bulbs out there. Do your research and you'll agree. Buy these now. Don't wait

I'm loving these bulbs so far, they're a definite improvement over the ~8+ year old Osrams I had in the car beforehand! There is a bit more of a green/yellow tint to the light than I had previously, but its not offensive and I've read that they will shift after the first few hours to their more permanent color. I was torn between these bulbs and either the Osram Nightbreaker Laser or Osram Cool Blue Boosts. It seemed that these were generally measured as the brightest and most useful light that would penetrate fog and rain the best! I havent driven in any bad weather since installing them, but I hope that will be true!

Came as advertised. Product had no evidence of tampering and appeared to be completely sealed in original packaging. This was further confirmed as authentic by Philips’ website after scanning the QR code. While I have not scientifically measured the light intensity and color, they are more than acceptable to the naked eye. I installed the bulbs into the xenon low beams on my 2000 BMW 323Ci on 7/12/20 and after about 2 hours of burn in, they increased my night range of vision from 25 ft to about 200 ft. The installation process took about 1 hour and required no specialized tools. Only downside is these bulbs are more expensive than competitors but then again, you get what you pay for.

These are the equivalent of OEM for my LS430. Had gotten an $80 set from Phillips and it was too yellow and not bright enough. These are higher output and they are definitely brighter without being blue. Still in the white color range. Highly recommend for OEM. I just installed so can't know how durability will be but aftermarket never lasts as long as original new (16 years)

These Philips bulbs are much brighter than the Subaru OEM bulbs. They cast a wider beam than the original bulbs that came with the car. Provides excellent clarity on dark highways and I bought two bulbs for less than the price of one bulb from the Subaru dealership. Well worth it.

Not as advertised. They claim 150 % brighter. Lucky if they are 50 % brighter.

Funciona +50% luz tal como dice. Caras, pero la seguridad al volante mo admite copias “compatibles”. Muy satisfecho.

Can see the road much better at night with these!
