Lagostina Rectangular Roaster, 16", Silver

2022: I've only used this a couple of times but I've failed to leave a review until now. Just used it again for the Thanksgiving turkey. Was thilled that it didn't flex in a super hot oven. Recipe called to preheat a baking stone AND the roasting pan at 500 degrees for 30 minutes. Assumed this pan would warp/flex in that hot of an oven but it did not! At the end of the day, cleaned up to look almost new! Wow! Love that I bought this one.

This pan is only slightly smaller than the cuisinart that I was looking at getting, but that one had so many mixed reviews that I couldn’t bring myself to buy it.We have used this pan a lot in the past month or so that we have had it! I spray it down with with cooking oil (not the kind with silicone) before each use. I have made chicken enchiladas, roasted potatoes, lasagna, turkey breast, chicken, and Cornish hens in it. I absolutely love that I can broil in it and cook at higher heats than my Pyrex. The handles are pulled back enough from the pan to allow foil on the top of the pan. The handles do stick straight up which is a benefit for this with smaller ovens. I like that the pan is also light so I can store it in an overhead cabinet and pull it down and put it away easily. Do not be fooled by it being light! It is plenty sturdy!I was expecting the pan to be triple ply because the model is advertised as such on the Lagostina website! It is not triple ply but I’m satisfied as it is.Clean up has been a snap. I either wash by hand or put on top rack in dishwasher.

Nice pan & it seems pretty sturdy for the price. However, I was hoping for a flat bottom. This one is has the bottom contoured apparently to let grease or drippings run off to the sides. I was hoping to use it for baklava and description & photos did not show the bottom. So flat would have been better for me. Also the handles stick up just a little too high and I can’t get it in the oven without moving one of the shelves up to the next level. So this leaves less space if you are trying to use it while cooking another dish at the same time. Would have been 5 stars had it not been for these minor design elements that impact how I can use it.

First of all, this pan is really pretty, with a bright mirror finish. With the holidays I needed a new roaster pan, with a quality rack. Most of my previous meat racks have been a pain to clean, and are usually the first thing to get thrown out.I used it for a Prime Rib, (approx 14 pounds), and it fit beautifully. It also makes a nice serving dish due to the polished finish on the outside.Afterwards, the pan, and more importantly the rack, were very easy to clean back to day one shine!

A tad thinner than I was expected with a sharp edge. The weight is ok but I wish I had spent slightly more for better heat maintenance and conduction.

This is an excellent product. It's well made, well designed, and works great for its intended purpose.The design perfect...from the size and depth to the handles on the sides, to the additional handles on the wire grate. The price is very reasonable given the quality.I do not think you will be able to find a better roasting pan, and certainly not at that price.

I love this roasting pan! I cooked a 17 pound turkey and it fit perfectly with room to spare for basting. Sturdy, easy to manage pan that was way easier to clean than I would have thought. And the pan even looks good from a presentation standpoint with the beautiful handles

I have a full Lagostina cookware set. This past Thanksgiving, I was seeking a roasting pan to make myself a turkey. After looking at several brands, checking their sizes and styles. I decided to stick with Lagostina. I was not disappointed.I'm not a chef. Nor do I play one on TV. But my ever growing Lagostina collection is allowing me to be more and more adventurous with my dishes.

Was expecting a thicker grade of stainless steel but still feels durable. Can’t comment on how well it cleans yet. I was looking for some kind of branding, to indicate it was a Giada di Laurentis inspired cookware, but none can be found! I like the higher handles. The price was very good for the quality.

The bottom of the pan was very thin, I wouldn't feel comfortable cooking a large turkey in it. I returned it.

easy to clean, thick gauge stainless steel, good pan capacity. fit a 8.5kg bird easily with some room to spare.
