They really are orange
First off, these are really super detailed. My question would be...if they are hand painted, why did they paint them orange. Camels are camel color. Even car interiors are named camel, which is a dark beige with a little tan. Hey I've been to the zoo, Busch Gardens and other places and have seen real live camels, both one hump and two hump. I know what color camels are and these are not camel colored. I did have a solution though. I painted them, all but one. They look way more natural in their natural color. They work perfect with my African safari themed HO scale railroad.
