~ 5 A “Million Billion” Stars ~
Now this is exactly why I LOVE Kendall Ryan’s books and writing. This book was perfection and Kendall at her finest. I loved this book so much more than Dirty Little Secret, but I understand why these books were written the way they are. Everything makes so much more sense after reading the second book.I won’t be discussing the storyline of this book because you need to unravel everything for yourself. I will say this, this was the perfect conclusion to Gavin and Emma’s story. I loved every word of this book. It is filled with passion, drama and even some suspense. This book had me sitting on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I loved the suspenseful part to the storyline, it took me by complete surprise and I will tell you this, you won’t see it coming!!!This is a fairly quick read, but was lacking for nothing. I thought everything was covered perfectly and the flow and pace of the story was effortless. Kendall truly sucked me into this storyline. I loved continuing on this journey with Gavin and Emma. Every high they felt I felt it too and every low broke my heart just like it did theirs. But in the end my heart was full and I had a HUGE smile on my face.I also liked that she sets up the next book in this series for us….I look forward to reading that book. She kind of left us guessing as to what will happen. NO, don’t misinterpret that and think this book has a cliffhanger, because it does not…it is a complete story, but she just ended this one leading into the next book having us question what could happen.Dirty Little Promise is NOT a standalone novel and you do NEED to read Dirty Little Secret first. Otherwise you will be lost and things will be spoiled if read out of order. Trust me when I say you want to read this series. This is turning out to be one of my favorite series to date!!!If you are a Kendall Ryan fan you can’t miss this series!!! A MUST READ!!!!

Loved the conclusion of Emma's story, can't wait for more Kingsley brothers!
After I finished Dirty Little Secret, I was DYING to get my hands on this book. I had to know what happened to Emma, Cooper, & Gavin. Kendall Ryan did not disappoint with Dirty Little Promise. I left the book feeling content and fulfilled, yet still eager to find out about the next brother in Torrid Little Affair.Dirty Little Secret left us with far more questions than answers, it was a great cliffhanger and had left me both satisfied with the story I had read and begging for more. Dirty Little Promise did not disappoint in fleshing out all of those secrets and questions that were left in the air. At least, regarding the primary Kingsley brother in this book. The other brothers are still full of secrets, and I have so many questions about them.I loved how easily Emma and the brother of her choosing were able to open up to one another. How, once they decided to not keep secrets from one another and lay it all on the line, they easily trusted one another and didn’t let misleading situations to destroy the trust they had built. There were times when it would have been far easier to jump to the easiest – and worst – conclusion but the strength of their relationship was in allowing each other the chance to explain everything. Too often in romance books jumping to conclusions lends to heartbreak and pain, when a simple explanation would clear everything up. It was nice to see this trope bucked in favor of a loving and trusting relationship.A lot was happening in this book. At times it seemed a concerted effort was orchestrated to keep Emma and her Kingsley brother from being together. Each time it looked like things were calming down for them another thing popped up, the amount of action in this book served well to keep me on my toes and turning those pages as fast as I could. Since the relationship was figured out and settled relatively quickly, it was all those forces against it that served to really cement their love. How they dealt with those awful things showed how much they truly belonged together. I also appreciated neither Emma or the brother in question let other people’s opinions of their relationship taint what they knew was right. It was a breath of fresh air to see two people so confident in their love.My only wish for this book would be that the resolutions to the conflicts would have been more fleshed out. I like to really dig in deep on those types of things, and I felt like the solutions to the problem vexing their relationship were just wrapped up too quickly for my preferences. It wasn’t that they weren’t wrapped up well, just that I would have loved to see more of the intricacies of the motivations of people behind the problems.Kendall Ryan’s writing was perfect for this story. It was a perfect balance between showing the love and affection the couple had for one another and the outside forces working for and against them. There was a roughness to the Kingsley brother’s chapters and a confident softness to Emma’s. Ms. Ryan also left enough breadcrumbs about the other brothers throughout the book to make me need to know their stories, to make me want to see them find their happiness.

5 STARS! Sexy, intense and exciting!
I’ve read many of Kendall Ryan’s books, and I’ve always enjoyed them. But I haven’t read anything like the Forbidden Desires series from her before, and it totally blew me away. The series has been an absolute thrill to read so far, and without hesitation, I believe this is some of Kendall Ryan’s finest writing to date.Exceptionally well written and richly developed, Dirty Little Promise was an immensely satisfying, exciting and sexy conclusion to the layered, complex love story that began in Dirty Little Secret. I didn’t know quite what to expect when I started this series, but I was pulled right into Gavin and Emma’s story from the very first page. Their romance was captivating and enthralling with a completely engrossing intensity that kept me riveted in place as I devoured it. Emma and Gavin’s chemistry was white-hot and this was some of Kendall’s raciest writing ever. Ryan wove a fantastically multi-faceted tale here, thick with heart-thumping intrigue, pulse-racing passion and a hard-fought love story.Told over the course of two books, I finished the first book, Dirty Little Secret, on a gasp, and I waited anxiously for the conclusion in this book. I loved everything about this story, and the rest of the stories in this series are some of my most highly anticipated reads. Five smooches from me for Dirty Little Promise by Kendall Ryan!~ Danielle Palumbo

Promises they are
Word of advice buy all the books before you start this because there is no stopping lol.Gavin and Emma's story ...and add Cooper is amazing. Well written and so many conflicting emotions throughout. You get to see Gavin opening up slowly like a present by being unwrapped. There hard journey towards love is a beautiful story. How they both open up. Both of their conflicting emotions on not deserving their HEA.You also see a side of Cooper but seen before. You do feel for him.Again an absolutely fab book. Could not put it downKeeping reading for more because it truly is special. Thank you Kendall.

A captivating finish to a thrilling duet
"Gavin had woven me into his web, had integrated himself into my life so completely, and I was held captive. Caught. Unable to walk away—or maybe I was just unwilling."I could barely put down the second book in Kendall Ryan's Forbidden Desires series: Dirty Little Promise. The conclusion of the story which began in Dirty Little Secret was equal parts fascinating, sexy with some pretty big bombshells. There's not a lot I want to say because I don't wish to spoil the plot of the first book or this one. But I can say that all loose ends are tied up, there's plenty of steamy sex scenes and I fell in love with both Emma and Gavin just a little bit more. The only criticism I have (which is why even though I've given the book 5 stars, it's closer to a 4.5/5 for me), is that there was a lot of drama in the book that was resolved rather quickly and easily. It was almost as if the build up and shock factor was more important than the reasoning behind it and the resulting impact. In saying that, I still loved the story and would definitely recommend it and Kendall as one of my now must read, one-click authors!!And I'm so glad I only have to wait a few days until I get Cooper's story in A Torrid Little Affair because that man desperately needs his own happily ever after ❤️

Sexy
Lots of hot sex in this book. I don't know why I'm not more invested in these characters but I guess its because I love Cooper best!Gavin and Emma go through a lot of disturbing troubles, especially the evil stalker who wants to destroy her. Gavin's past comes back to haunt him and Cooper disappears...intentionally.All in all this is not a bad story BUT I'm not impressed that a filler was used to make the book longer. The first 3 chapters of book 3 to be exact.

Dirty Little Promise is the conclusion to Gavin Kingsley and ...
Dirty Little Promise is the conclusion to Gavin Kingsley and Emma Bell’s intense and heated romance. If you thought the precursor Dirty Little Secret was fierce in its passion and excitement, Dirty Little Promise is more fervent, the chemistry stronger and its impact more emotionally charged.Once again, Kendall Ryan delivers an epic love story with more delicious angst and fulfilling suspense, and every scene is hotter and bolder and sexier. Emma Bell, modest, quiet and respectable, is reeling in shock after learning Gavin Kingsley’s dark and dirty secrets. She finds herself longing for the enigmatic billionaire, but she’s also torn and uncertain whether she can trust the man she continues falling for.In every aspect, Gavin Kingsley is dominant; he is demanding and controlling, while also being fair within reason. When he is certain about wanting something or someone, he is determined to have it. And what he wants is Emma Bell, his sensual and seductive librarian. While Gavin manages to clear some of Emma's unease by answering her difficult questions about Ashley, Emma is still cautious. Her experience with relationships is limited, her ex-boyfriend having been physically and verbally abusive. With Gavin's domineering personality and incessant need for rough sex, Emma is understandably concerned if she is about to enter a similar relationship.Even though Emma knows she wants Gavin, there's still Cooper, the youngest Kingsley to consider. She's caught between two equally handsome and persistent figures, but she can only have one. Cooper is sweet and gentle, soft compared to Gavin's rough edges. And while my heart broke for Cooper, I'm keen to have him meet his match in Torrid Little Affair.Emma's more confident, assertive and self-assured. She's shifted from quiet librarian to someone more seductive and submissive who brings out Gavin's softer, more attentive and tender side. It takes someone with patience and determination to overcome the horrifying experiences she's been through, making her awe-inspiring and brave.
