Arctic Cool Men's Crew Neck Instant Cooling Moisture Wicking Performance UPF 50+ Long Sleeve Sun Protection Shirt

I am a land surveyor always working in the elements. I can handle the lowest California lows just fine but I feel that I am heat intolerant and summers can be brutal, especially in the inland high desert. After I had soaked the shirt in water, wrang it out and gave it a few snaps it made me feel like I was at the beach in 117° weather. When wet the shirt itselfs cools your body temperature down but a small breeze will make it feel extra special. Heat stroke is killer, be careful out there.

I own a plant nursery in Florida so i'm out in the blazing sun all day, every day. Have tried other "wicking" shirts and still needed to change shirts several times a day. With this shirt I was able to wear the same shirt all day and while it became damp it never became saturated like other wicking shirts do. I am VERY impressed with the shirt and just ordered two more. It kept me cooler than any other shirt I have tried so would give it 10 stars if I could.

This company claims their shirts will keep you up to 35 degrees cooler as you sweat in the heat. This claim in my evaluation of both a long sleeve and short sleeve shirts I bought based on those claims. I fish almost every day behind my house in the canal. It gets into the high 90s this time of year with 50% humidity and can be quite unbearable no matter now much non alcoholic fluids you consume. I was hoping for their claim to be true, but I found it is not. The shirt itself remained dry even though I was sweating puddles. This is what was supposed to cool me down through their technological fabric. It did nothing more than any spandex type shirt I have other than not soak through and I could care less if my shirts soak through when I sweat while out fishing. I live in Central Florida and the humidity on top of the high heat becomes unbearable no matter how healthy you are. I think I’ve made my point and I’ve sent both shirts back to the return address Amazon Returns Gabe me on the labels I printed out. It was picked up today by UPS and I will be watching very closely how quickly or not I get my refund for a product that doesn’t keep its claims and aren’t cheap. I’ll just stick with hosing myself down as I deal with the heat and then cold showers when done. This costs me nothing. Too bad the shirts are another scam and I’d like to speak to any of those who wrote they were happy with the cooling factor if the company believes my results are somehow wrong.

This was a repeat purchase. The fit is awesome, the long sleeves give me full protection from the sun. When I ride the motorcycle, I don't have to smear SPF100 all over my skin, I just slip on the shirt and I am good to go. I have two of the polo style too. Looks good and I stay cool on the hottest days. I wish they made a windbreaker too.

I love the long sleeved shirts! Having sun sensitive skin and being an avid golfer, Arctic Cool has helped me play summer time golf in Alabama with a long sleeved shirt! I'm comfortable in the 90+ degree weather. Just keep a spray bottle and keep the shirt damp and you are comfortable!I've even ordered shirts for outdoor work in the sun.. They are all that I wear shirtwise.Now sadly, why a 4 rating. They are clearly marked "made in China"! I will not buy any more of this excellent product as I only buy American if at all possible! Now Arctic Cool, get a manufacturing plant in the USA and I'll be a lifetime customer!

I work construction. This Arctic Cool Men's Crew Neck long sleeve protects me from the burning sun while also being light weight and cooling. I do have gear over this shirt except at the arms which are exposed to tie wire, rebar, concrete, pvc glue etc.I'm thin and 5'9" and sizing chart was on point.It is holding up very well and is very good quality. The construction environment is very tough on gear so it will need to be replaced at some point.I appreciate the high viz options although depending where you work, the GC may require high viz reflective safety vests anyway or can get kicked off the job.I will purchase more as I need them. I highly recommend this product. Cooling technology works yall.

These shirts work great for working out at home or the gym. I was hoping that they would help with cooling on a motorcycle trip, and they definitely did not handle that task at all. Other than that, they are great shirts and I will continue to wear them.
