I drain my water heater every fall, but I was amazed at how much junk came out with this thing!Flushing with this will be part of my new spring and fall routines.

Worked well, short wrench
It fit perfectly, and wand did a great job flushing the scale. One complaint is the supplied wrench is too short, doesn’t clear the edge of the hot water heater enclosure. To be able to use it, it would need to be about 4-6 “ longer.

Long pressurize nozzle works well.
I bought this to clean out our hot water tank on our traveling camper. Once I drained it and looked at the rod, I cannot believe what was left. It was like about a quarter inch. The new rods that came with it seem to be good quality and they were about 3/4 of an inch each plus it came with the high pressure nozzle. All for one price just what I needed. Everything worked like a charm and now I have a back up to keep a better eye on this Hot water tank for those of you that have a camper and a West product. You should check it more periodically at least twice during your camping season.

Necessary tool to clean water heater tank
Flushing wand worked as described. You must flush your tank and check your anode annually. I wish the anode wrench were a bit longer to ease removal and installation. Recommend this kit.
