I’m revising my earlier negative review… it’s only fair. I misspoke. I don’t know if the taste test we did at home failed because we did it after we were already full from dinner, or if there were flavors lingering from the dinner that didn’t match… but wow, I was hating on this Biltong hard. I was even mad about it because of the large variety pack I purchased. Then, as part of a strict diet I did for a week, jerky was prescribed. So I decided I would choke some down. The flavor profile was entirely different… so different that I felt guilty about the scathing review I’d written. I still can’t recommend the coriander or lemon pepper, but that could be a matter of taste. The rest are fantastic. It’s the best snack I’ve had and although the bags aren’t large per se, they are more filled than say a chip bag. I actually feel good by the end of bag, not like I’ve been cheated like a lot of other bagged snacks will leave you feeling. Suffice to say, I was wrong. Now you’ll excuse me while I order some more.

I buy the bulk box because I want as much as possible for a good price. They have RECENTLY started filling the smaller bags with a few scraps. There is now only 2-3 bites per small bag. I HATE that companies do this. They get you addicted then cut their production. So annoying.

All in the title on this one. Reaching your hand into one is these bags is a genuinely gross experience. It tasted good enough, but there’s just no way I will buy this again.
