I absolutely love this! I have 3 children who have not yet figured out you cannot iron everything on the highest heat level. Needless to say, I've spent a lot of days getting fabric fibers off the plate of the iron. However, I haven't had to do that since I purchased this cover. It has enough holes to let the steam come through and does not degrade the heat level of the iron. I did put this on a new iron and the plate still looks great. I take it off to clean the hard water residue and put it right back on. It works as advertised.

This item is a godsend. With it over the sole plate high heat won’t ruin synthetic fabrics. Cleaning my iron caused the fire alarm to go off repeatedly.

Works well reasons 1) entire plate get hit with iron so its nice but controlled heat 2) iron gets heavy so it's nice crisp lines 3) good quality and fits on my iron

Fit my Sharp iron perfectly. Have not used it yet but impressed by the universal fit.

Excellent for ironing delicate and synthetic garments. Fits and slips of the iron easily. Expensive ($17) but worth the money.

I have no complaints. It fits well with my iron and I hope it lasts well.
