The perfect washing solution
Worked even better than expected. It completely brought back the waterproofing of my jackets—with Gore-Tex membranes and others like a Jack Wolfskin one with Texapore Pro technology. The difference was like night and day after using it properly, following the instructions. Highly recommended.

Works as expected, small container
Seemed to work on ski jackets etc. No obvious damage. They got cleaner. Didn’t remove all stains.Note container is small doesn’t do many loads.

Expensive- but works on waterproof jackets/pants
I work in stormwater construction and frequently end up more a mud monster than a human. My Helly Hansons often look like they are mud brown instead of blue. Other soaps have either not cleaned the outfits or seemed to reduce the water proof capabilityies- needing recoating. I found this soap did a great job cleaning the gear and may have even improved it waterproof capabilities. I was just bit floored that one bottle is good for one load. Still, lot cheaper than new truly waterproof gear.

Must have for camping gear and jackets
I’ve used this on a few jackets and a sleeping bag, and it’s defiantly a must have. Doesn’t have a strong smell to it, it works well, and is a good value for the price. I use my tub to wash since my washer has an agitator, and use the drier on fluff.

Wish I had known about this earlier
I have several Gore-Tex garments and I have noticed in the past couple of years that 2 of them are losing their DWR coating resulting in "wet out" and making me feel wet an clammy in the the jacket. I was aware that this is an issue in these expensive pieces but had not heard of NIKWAX until just a few days ago. I ordered this product, received it yesterday, proceeded to launder 4 of my expensive outer ware pieces and today..... we had rain. Well, I couldn't wait to go outside and see if this stuff delivered what it said it would. Gladly I am very happy to say, it worked amazing. My LL Bean rain jacket that 3 days ago beaded no water, beaded like the day I first wore it in the rain over 5 years ago. Not only that, but after washing it , the jacket looked great, in fact all the jackets I washed came out looking like the day I bought them. I love these high tech fabrics as they work in all weather and their breathability has always been a key for me. Nikwax worked like magic, their DWR seems to be renewed and the jackets look great. My only negative comment and it's a small one is that this product has a funky smell while in the wash, but after drying on low, I really can't smell it anymore. I am pleased as punch to have bough this and will be ordering more to keep on hand. I just spoke to a good friend in the UK and he said, "oh yeah, I've used if for years" to which I said, "why didn't you tell me about such an amazing product" Anyway, if you own any gore-tex stuff, get this, you won't be disappointed.

Great tech wash, just be aware that it's basically single use in the 10oz size
I originally bought this thinking it did the waterproofing as well as washing, some tricky word play leaves you thinking it's intended to revitalize your DWR treatment, you'll need to buy the waterproofing wash in addition to this tech wash though. The tech wash cleaned my jackets great. For what it's worth, I washed 4 jackets (Patagonia Houdini, R2 fleece, hi-loft sweater, and a BD Access Hybrid). The Patagonia jackets were 6 years of wear without a wash and the BD was 3 years. So they were ready for a wash. The tech wash did great. The reason im giving it 3 stars though, is that 4 jackets took the whole bottle! I would have ordered a bigger bottle if I knew these were single use. Overall, it cost about $4 per garment to wash and waterproof! In any case, if you need to wash some of your more important gear, wash with confidence, just do so knowing that for 4-6 garments it'll take the whole 10 oz bottle of wash followed by another 10 oz bottle of waterproofing.

Impressive removed vomit smell
Removed the vomit and vomit smell from my tent after my daughter vomited all over the tent on a backpacking trip. I am impressed. I washed the tent by hand in my tub because of the mosquito net. I am about to wash all the stuff sacks and later the rain cover in the front loading washing machine and the sleeping pads by hand. Only complaint i have is i wished i knew how many mL fit in the cap so I can measure the soap quantity. I am estimating with a kitchen scale.
