Definitely won’t travel with a toddler without it!!
This was such a savior in the international flight. My child was comfortable and I was able to make them sleep lying on their back as a proper bed. Worked very well for a 2 year old.Rest of the time, this was perfect for stretching legs and not having to worry about toys falling down. Gave a really nice play area. Worth every penny. This one had larger dimensions than some other cheap ones. Glad I bought this because others would have been much smaller and wouldn’t give the best comfort. This works well for economy seats on International flights. On Alaska airlines flight there was still room to fit something larger, so if you travel domestic or premium Economy please research if you can get something larger so you don’t have a gap infront.

Worth it
Awesome. Saved my swelling legs and aching knees on a 14 hr flight. Was a tight fit, could only inflate most of the way, which was fine. Blew up, then deflated, fast. Rolled up for carry on easy and became pretty small, maybe inch by 10 inch. Stuffed it to bottom easy. Held up, no leaks, so hope to use it again. L Most airlines don't allow those feet hammocks, so this is a good option. I plan on using it on every long flight now. Oh and if your legs swell or ache I'd also get some compress socks, 20 to 30 cm pressure.

Easy to use
It worked as it should and was easy to blow up. It was comfortable enough. But my carry on suitcase worked great for a leg rest too since we were in the bulkhead seat.

My New Go-To Travel Accessory
I bought this product initially for my long flight with two kids going from Los Angeles to Tokyo. We had some economy seats and wanted something that would give my kids and my self some extra room to stretch out. This worked amazing for all of us. The kids were able to sit with their legs elevated to the same height as the seat and were able to sleep laying flat with the extra extension of the Flypal. I was also able to sit with my legs elevated so it helped relieve pressure in my legs that I usually feel when traveling long distances and sleeping was nice too since I didn't feel like I was going to slide down my seat. Inflating and deflating the Flypal was super easy too since I was able to use the air vents overhead. So many people commented how happy my kids were with all that extra comfy space. As they said, "It's genius!"

Impractical.
Nothing inherently wrong with this, it just isn't practical. There isn't room in tight economy class to use it. I carried it all the way to India, and left it there, as I didn't want to carry it all the way back. Use your backpack as a footrest instead.

Very compact and easy to inflate
1st review prior to air travel:Always wanted to buy footrest for air travel but borrowed similar type from friend once and found it bulky and hard to inflate so had been hesitant. However, came across fly pal while looking for something else and decided to give it a try.Pro:1) Inflate: this was my BIGGEST worry, I don’t want to run out of breath trying to blow up two big foot pillow on board. I received it and first thing I tried at home is to inflate these two pillows. EASY ago inflate. I still feel a bit light headed but the design is so much better than the one I borrowed. That one I can’t even inflate by mouth.2) compact - this foot pillow is SO COMPACT and these came with storage bag. I was worry this will take up most of my carry on space again so I only purchase one to begin with even though i have two boys. It’s so compact I just purchased my second one.3) storage bag - being a OCD this storage bag is amazing. I love how the company knows airline floor is not the cleanest place so after I flat we can use storage bag as protective cover to keep the foot pillow clean.4) support from customer service : I was kind of shock to receive a separate email notification wanting me to know my product is on the way and please contact them if I have any questions ( didn’t contact them for any actual support yet but feel reassured that company actually care)So with this , I really like the flying pal as of right now. I just bought my second one because I like what I see and tried at home. Will write up second review once I test these on flight.

Comfy on a train
So far so good! First leg of the trip. And this is so comfortable on the train to SD! 6 hr train ride is so much better. I’ll update after the 11 hr plane ride to Tokyo!

Excellent on long flights IF your airline allows it. Some don't. Check before you fly.
It worked and worked well when it was allowed, but please be aware that not all airlines permit them. On an international flight between the US and Asia, an Air France flight attendant let us know that we had to put them away for people to have the ability to walk thrugh (even though our family -- 2 adults and 2 young kids with dangling legs -- were the only ones in the 4-seat row), defeating the purpose of getting them for a 12-hour flight. Therefore, ensure it is permitted beforehand. If so, they work great! If not... it's just extra luggage to carry.Edit: I forgot to mention, you do have to blow them up, but it's not too bad and a small price to pay to put your feet up. Again... IF your flight allows it.
